I was delighted to visit the new Barclays office at Apex Plaza, employing 120 people and supporting the bank’s work with local schools though their LifeSkills programme, which helps young people to build financial literacy and develop their employability skills.

The Government wants to build more council and social housing. And, Reading's Labour Council is building council houses. It was great to attend their consultation event with residents over plans for affordable homes on the site of the former Southcote Library site.
