So! I'm gonna be a little nerdy about writing and delivering a message and actually put my drama degree to use. The method of delivering the anti-AI message is spectacular. It's simple and quick. The execution is terrible. It goes SO beyond over the top so quickly that it becomes parody.

A poem called Please Us AI by Shawn Smucker.

It reads:

Be sure to use AI when making
your next, I don't know, meal plan,
for example. Definitely do not call
your friend who loves to cook and ask her
for her favorite recipes or tips or ways
to save time making meals,
because you will end
up talking for longer than you had hoped,

I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this '# recs' addition to #CCC. On one hand it benefits me because I've already gotten some great recommendations from the people I've worked for. On the other it makes it harder for new voice actors to break in amongst a see of green markers they don't have.

Look. I am not going to say Pride is more or less important than Men's Mental Health Month. That's not my place. But what I WILL say is that things like this are what galvanise younger or struggling men against left leaning policies/groups. So many men feel abandoned by the system and others.

Look, it's not about GETTING the award. It's about sending a message. YTGV is genuinely the only game that came out this year that I played that I actually remember and effected me on an emotional level. @panikarcade.bsky.social truly did something amazing with this game and it IS my GOTY. Simple.
