Haven’t done a linocut print yet this year, so started cutting a new one this afternoon from a design I did earlier this year 🦊 #linocut #linoprint #fox

Made a start on a new painting today 😊 These are just some of the elements of the second layer I’ve painted, plus a preparatory study for the figure I’ll be adding in the next layer 🖌️#wip #mixedmedia #painting

This piece is based on Dylan Thomas’s ‘Poem in October’ which describes him taking a walk on his 30th birthday and musing about the passing of time 🖌️ #dylanthomas #art #mixedmedia

Latest painting, “Fern Hill”, with a bit of me in the frame to give it scale (it’s pretty big). #art #collage #mixedmedia

Detail from a mixed media / collage work in progress called “Fern Hill”, inspired by the wonderful poem by Dylan Thomas. A poster with the poem was on the wall in my English class, and I do love it. #art #collage #mixedmedia #dylanthomas

I’ve updated my idea for a painting in my #sketchbook with a few additions - I’ve added in #DylanThomas, the man himself, and the following line from ‘Fern Hill’: In the sun that is young once only, Time let me play and be Golden in the mercy of his means #art #sketch #drawing

Sketching out an idea for a painting, another two layers to go - I want to create a depth. It’s inspired by Dylan Thomas’s ‘Fern Hill’ poem, which I love. #DylanThomas #painting #illustration #art

Tried out a new medium today: ink (black and white over an ochre wash) using a dip pen. My mark making is sketchy here, but I enjoyed how you could create some really elegant and modulated marks if you slowed down. My fox morphed into a wolf somehow 🤔 #art #Wales
