Thrilled to unveil the Laughing Matters Fellowship cohort - an incredible brains trust of producers and writers who I’ll be working with as part of my comedy and climate work at OKRE. The UK has the best comedy talent in the world; I can’t wait to see how they tackle the biggest crisis of our age.

Myself and @jwestjourno.bsky.social are taking a couple of weeks off recording @illexplainlater.bsky.social - but to tide you over, we've dusted off an unreleased, missing-presumed-wiped recording from 2019. Enjoy our thoughts on Frontios from six years ago! illexplainlater.com #doctorwho

Me, aged 22, playing "Dalek on the right" in the 2005 Channel 5 sketch show Swinging. For the full story of exactly how this happened, and why it was a bit of a Sliding Doors moment for me, check out this week's episode of @illexplainlater.bsky.social!

A screenshot from the frankly long-forgotten Channel 5 sketch show Swinging, featuring Matt (co-host of the Doctor Who podcast I'll Explain Later) playing a Dalek aged 22, alongside David Armand, Dominic Coleman and Jo Joyner who, unlike Matt, are actual talented performers.
