Firefox, I love you, but why the fuck have you replaced the system-native UI buttons in your dialog boxes with this nonsense:
The dialog box to quit the latest version of Firefox on macOS. Rather than native macOS buttons and dialog box styling, it uses its own non-standard flat purple version for some reason

A comment from YouTube user "Stinsonator2". It reads:

And you may find yourself, performing at Coachella
And you may find yourself, touring around the world
And you may find yourself in a Nardwuar interview
And you may ask yourself, "Wait, how does he know that?!"

This all used to fit on one screen, but now because everything must be Big and Round, I have to scroll to see them all, and there's no way to adjust the size/spacing.
A list of locations in the latest Android weather app, with so much negative space added that a list of seven locations, which used to fit in one screen, now requires scrolling

Like, look at this. What the fuck is going on with this spacing. This is amateur hour.
A partial screenshot of my home screen on the latest version of Android. The bottom row of icons is crammed right up next to the bottom search bar, with a huge gap between the next set of icons, leaving everything looking unbalanced.

RIP Jean Baudrillard, you would've loved the City of Vancouver's use of generative AI
A screenshot of a Facebook post from "City of Vancouver - Local Government". The text reads: "We love love! Looking for your perfect proposal spot in Vancouver? We've got cute lovers' seats with the best view in town! This image was created using AI". Below is a clearly AI-generated image of a bench on a platform in some sort of wooded glen or perhaps copse, surrounded by bouquets of flowers and a topiary arch. I can't think of anywhere in Vancouver that looks even remotely like this.

If Mark Carney wants a real nation-building project, he could start by acting on his top campaign promise, which as we all remember was to bring back the beloved Canadian breakfast cereal Just Right™.
A product photo of a box of breakfast cereal. The box is a pleasant, forest green. In large letters, the name of the cereal: "Kellogg's Just Right." A profile shot of a spoonful of the cereal, a delightful golden yellow mixture. The tagline: "A perfect combination of four delicious grains that you can see & taste."

Now that the election is over, it's time for Mark Carney to get to work on his top campaign promise: reversing the Trudeau-era discontinuation of beloved Canadian breakfast cereal Just Right™ and getting it back on grocery store shelves.

Now they just need to fix the bug introduced I think in 14.0 where third-party "legacy" screensavers simply do not exit, but create a new instance of themselves every time they launch. Hilarious memory leak, real amateur hour stuff from Apple on this one
A screenshot of the Activity Monitor in macOS after starting and stopping a "legacy" screensaver about a dozen times. The "legacyScreenSaver" process is sitting at a healthy 25.2% CPU usage and 9.8% GPU usage. Not pictured is that the screensaver itself gets increasingly more bugged out with each subsequent launch

In addition to Hylians, Zora, Gorons, Gerudo, etc., the Mohawk and the French also canonically exist in the world of Hyrule. Which implies that there was also a Hyrulean Oka Crisis, a Hyrulean French Revolution,

"Whatever you now find weird, ugly, uncomfortable and nasty about a new medium will surely become its signature. CD distortion, the jitteriness of digital video, the crap sound of 8-bit - all of these will be cherished and emulated as soon as they can be avoided. It's the sound of failure: so much modern art is the sound of things going out of control, of a medium pushing to its limits and breaking apart. The distorted guitar sound is the sound of something too loud for the medium supposed to carry it. The blues singer with the cracked voice is the sound of an emotional cry too powerful for the throat that releases it. The excitement of grainy film, of bleached-out black and white, is the excitement of witnessing events too momentous for the medium assigned to record them."

Say what you will about Limp Bizkit, but Fred Durst had already figured out the best gender-neutral way to address a group in the year 2000
A screenshot from the music video for Limp Bizkit's "Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle)". Frontman Fred Durst, in his signature backwards red hat and white t-shirt, mugs at a fisheye lens. Backup dancers are in the background in similar outfits. A lyric caption reads: "Hey, ladies! (Where you at?) / Hey, fellas! (Where you at?) / And all the people that don't give a fuck! (Where you at?)"

That's OK, it wasn't anything important
A screenshot of what happens on Facebook when I try to post a link to a CBC News story about the evacuation of Yellowknife due to wildfires: a popup says "This post can't be shared. In response to Canadian government legislation, news content can't be shared." The post button is greyed out.
