PSA: Examples of a judicial warrant and an administrative warrant. ICE cannot enter your home with only an administrative warrant.

Hey, I know there’s a lot of bad shit happening in the world, and this isn’t ultimately that important, but the Emmys snubbing the cast of Andor is crazy. If any shows deserved to dominate the nominations this year, it was Andor and The Pitt. Ridiculous

BTS // From a gig last year with a great, Portland crew and DP David Vollrath 📸 Fuji x100T #bts #fujiframez #portlandfilm #oregonfilm #lifeonset #filmcrew #sonycine #sonyvenice #zeissoptics

Monochrome photo of Behind the scenes on a commercial film shoot. A DP and Gaffer look at their frame on a monitor to adjust lighting. They are inside a house, with windows letting in bright ambient light from outside.

A crew member on a film shoot smiles as their picture is taken, while standing behind a cart of their camera gear

A director of photography directs the grips on how he wants the lighting. He is holding a large monitor and pointing while two other crew members listen for adjustments. A 12x12 scrim sits behind them from the middle of frame to the left

Many products sold in the U.S. are made in El Salvador. In response to the El Salvador president’s statements today, we’re calling for an immediate boycott of all Salvadoran-made goods. Please help by listing any products or brands made in El Salvador in the comments below.

Refused 04.08.2025 // Portland, OR What a gift to see, experience and document a band that has meant so much to me. Thanks Refused + @dennislyxzen.bsky.social #refused #refusedpartyprogram #photography #concertphotography #concert #canon #portland #hardcore #punk #musicphotography

Hardcore band, Refused, performs on stage in front of a massive banner that reads “Umea Hardcore Refused.” Top half of the image is the stage from the lights down to the crowd, bottom half of the image is the crowd and a slight mirroring effect from a specialty lens filter. Image is black and white

Singer of the band, Refused, performing on stage. A bright light hits them from behind, which nearly cuts the image in half between bright, white stage lighting and the darkness of the background. Image is black and white

The singer and bass player of the band, Refused, airborne and captured on camera mid-jump. Bright white lights shine behind them, behind their amps and the drum set. Their guitar player is engulfed in light on the left side of the image. Image is black and white

A black and white image of the band, Refused, performing on stage. POV of from a balcony above and to the right of the stage. A slight blurring effect cuts through the middle of the image from a specialty lens filter. The stage lights create islands of light and streams of darkness.

While on location for the movie Sing Sing in upstate NY. Cinematographer Pat Scola and loader Danielle Carroll in the recently decommissioned Downstate Intake Prison. Most of our cast had been through here before processed and shipped elsewhere. I’m still in awe they decided to return. Art can save

Our film loader Danielle Carroll in the prison cafeteria with 250 D from Kodak. The only stock we used outside of 2 rolls of 500T.

Monochrome image from a film set. Paula Abdul stands in a wrestling ring. A white silk sits on a stand in front of her. To the left, outside of the ring, a cinematographer frames the shot with the camera on a job arm

A cinematographer looks into the eye piece of his camera. Behind him, assorted crew walk on the beach on a sunny day

I’m excited for @flashes.blue to be out now. One thing - I don’t love that posts with multiple photos are cropped in the app. Is there a setting I’m missing to change this or is that something that’s going to be fixed down the road? Thanks @flashes.blue!

Parental milestone unlocked: took my oldest to his first concert. And I am beyond stoked that his first concert was Five Iron Frenzy. We only lasted 5 songs before he was too tired to stay, but he was so pumped to tell mom about it when we got home. #fiveironfrenzy #ska #falsemetal #parenting

No but for real, please get a library card and support your local library. Download Libby, and get books even if you don’t read them. It helps show engagement in the library from the community. And, as stated earlier, getting a library card is punk as fuck. Be punk as fuck
