But there’s some real bad in here too. Mobile signal is non existent in some of the tunnels and stations unless you’re with “the right carrier” and the sound quality of the announcements is beyond a joke on some of the trainsets.

There are some parts of the Eglinton Line that I really like. It’s smooth through the tunnels. It has more space internally than the streetcars. And the Mount Dennis complex has some nice building reuse.

I popped into the new Eglinton Line station. Given much of it has been complete for years I’m amazed that only two elevators already need maintenance. When Berlin had delays with their airport half the site needed maintenance or replacement by opening time.

This is so embarrassing. Only 5 places in the east of Canada to recycle a Brita cartridge. Meanwhile the UK website shows about that many for an area just to the north of a small city to the north of Birmingham. Clorox Corporation you need to get your act together and do the right thing here!

In 2013 Tesla in Europe repurposed the Mennekes connector to perform as both AC and DC in much the same way their own connector works. Later they adopted the CCS2 standard. Adapters like this were needed for early Model S and X vehicles.

Loving RBC’s EV savings calculator. It doesn’t list half the cars available as EVs but does list a bunch of plug in hybrids. 2 out of 5 here are EVs. The EX40 and EC40 are missing. The Dual motor EX30 is missing. 🤦‍♂️

This system is a joke. Trains are not stopping at North York centre due to a security incident. I am sat here. There was no announcement until after the train had passed through. There are no restrictions on entering the station. There are Increasing numbers of people on the platform.

The AI slop is strong at Yahoo Finance. They thought it was valid to create an article that tell you to invest $1,146,762 in Apple in order to acheive a $500 monthly return equivalent from dividends. Apple pay 0.5% as a dividend based on current price. Basic savings is better for this purpose.

Trains in this area of town already pass by large low rise industrial areas and people have been living there happily for ages. It’s a big improvement from what was there before the realignment and reuse for the Elizabeth Line. I visited in 2015 and the improvements were obvious back then.

Not quite. The router is the same as Comcast use but the xfinity branding is new-ish to Rogers. They used to use ignite branding on the same hardware. I’m wondering if it’s a planned way out for the Rogers family. Hey Comcast you buy us and we’ll just sink more money into sports.
