Agreed. It's also really demoralising. Already struggle just finding time for art but when I do I often struggle to make anything. Seeing this slop everywhere I look when I leave the house just crushes my spirit I guess.

I genuinely really hate how much I have to think about gen ai every day to try to avoid it. Like you can't just buy a game or look at art on socials or watch a movie anymore without having the "did they use ai for this?" Questions hovering in your head constantly. It has made life less fun overall
