The Court is routinely chucking precedents upwards of 80 years old in few word do trick orders. The justices are angry with district judges and seem to say: you know the outcomes we will choose, yet you come to your own conclusions based on existing case law. Outcome then reason, if needed.

This may seem like a small point but despite the jackets they are NOT police. FBI wears FBI on their backs, ATF wears ATF, DEA wears DEA. Border Patrol and customs has specific and limited, mostly civil powers. Not near the border, not enforcing import duties and not searching for criminals.
