I’m in Budapest with everyone as my brother lives here and it’s his 40th. After a day going around, we split to go back to respective accommodation- and my dad was supposed to get in the opposite direction tram… Enjoy. Best with sound.

On Tuesday I drove to @thorpepark.bsky.social - and was very pleased to just pull into a ev charging bay, and pay significantly less then I would at the services to charge - sure it took longer, but I didn’t care as I was on a roller coaster.

Fun day with my kids, partner and parents driving a canal boat for the day 🥰 which was for my birthday. Nothing like having the whole crew together. Not always easy, but always worth it.

I’ve been battling a type 2 diabetes diagnosis back in 2022 which came a bit out of nowhere at the time. I’d like to say the improvement is down to my hard work, but it’s not. It’s down to the 10 tablets I’m taking a day to manage it (and other stuff) - but a lower number is a lower number.

I’ve always been supportive of assisted dying. I think individuals should be able to make their own choices on how they live and die. However, DNRs ‘appearing’ here and during Covid worries me. That’s not people’s choice. Are all the right safeguards going to be put in place?
