It didn't clean up perfectly but it looks better than have cat teeth marks. If I were to paint it it would look fine.

Finally finished up the waist and built the arms. I had to make a paste out of some runner bits and plastic cement to fix some teeth marks on the heat saber handle because apparently my cat decided to chew on it in the middle of the night. Im just waiting for it to dry so I can sand it.

So I'm at The Midnight concert in Vancouver and I bought my ticket for $30 on a recent ticketmaster deal but the seat was 3 rows from the back in the Balcony. A staff member walked up to me and handed me a free upgrade putting me 16 rows from the stage.

Finished the RX 78-2 3.0. Esthetically, I love this kit, unfortunately it's got some issues I don't like. The fingers keep popping off when trying to put stuff in the hands and there is no attachment point on the arm to help support the shield. No photo shoot, going to leave it as is. #Gunpla

Trying my hand at a kitbash using the first 4 kits I ever got, the original High Grades of the Strike Freedom, Infinite Justice, Destiny and Legend. They where not treated well. Broken parts and prominent nubs because I pushed them out of the runners by hand. Time to give them life again. #Gunpla

This was probably my favourite deck I made back then. I might tweek it a little bit for modern format but I don't want to mess with it too much, I don't want it to loose what made me enjoy it.

Starting from the left column we have Chandra, the Firebrand x2, Koth of the Hammer x2, Furyborn Hellkite x2, Chandra's Phoenix x4, Increasing Vengeance x3, Devil's Play x2, Red Sun's Zenith x1, Stormblood Berserker x4, Shrine of Burning Rage x3, Goblin Fireslinger x4, Blood Ogre x4, Volt Charge x4, Galvanized Blast x3, Mountain x22.

The sideboard consists of Hero of Oxid Ridge x1, Vulshok Refugee x4, Rolling Temblor x3, Manic Vandal x4, Burns the Impure x3.

I finally made some more progress on the MG 3.0. I had previously built the weapons, shield and core fighter but now I got the torso, backpack and head finished. I even got the LED for the eyes.

So while the MG RX-78-2 3.0 is the first kit I started this year, it's not the first one to be finished. That goes to the RX-78-2 Revival. I've been wanting to pick this one up for a while and kept forgetting to. I grabbed it today along with the yellow LED for the MG 3.0 #Gundam #Gunpla

The second issue I had to fix was the slide for the shield handle being loose as well and it wouldn't hold its position. For this I trimmed and sanded down a flat piece from the runner and cemented it on the track to create more friction to hold the handle in place.

First thing I fixed was the view port on the sheild. I found that the shutter for the view port wouldn't hold in the closed position. To fix this I trimmed off a thin slice from a nub and used some plastic cement to add some thickness to the part the shutter slides against.

Finished. Easily my favourite version of the justice. From the X-Wing style glider to the addition of silver to compliment the Strike Freedoms gold. The only thing I really miss from the previous versions are the shoulder boomerangs and the little bit of green on the torso.
