She has also helped other 2SLGBTQIA+ members in her hometown of Pittsburgh with job searching, cover letter/resume writing and connecting services.

She and her wife are facing foreclosure on their home after four months without unemployment for her wife in later summer 2025, along with an issue with the bank. They need to come up with $5300 by October 15th to stop the foreclosure and keep their home. She is trans, disabled, and an immigrant, and this situation has been incredibly hard on her. She and her wife both live with severe mental illness and the stress of possibly losing their home is starting to affect their physical health too, making daily life even harder. This home means so much to them, it was part of the estate after her father passed away and its not just a place to live its where their neighbors and friends are and the community they are so involved with. They truly could not afford another place to live.
