Finally, my last cube was the Roguelike Deckbuilder cube in which you build an increasingly broken deck over the course of 3 rounds by adding more cards and game-breaking perks. I started monowhite and pivoted to Yorion in round 2 thanks to the Bonders perk.

Next is a 2-1 deck from the Hackett Cube. It had some extreme power outliers like Jaya, Task Mage. My only weakness was a total lack of artifact removal which cost me a match against a very cool trading post artifact recursion deck.

@chillmtgtv.bsky.social and I took down the 2HG Cube champions with this pair of decks. The highlight of the final match was casting Professor Onyx so my teammate could copy it. The drain from that card in 2 headed giant doubles against the opposing life total and is very strong!

My prequel draft was Triptych where every player gets to put a class or saga in their command zone. My commander was Hunter's Talent because efficient removal spells are great.

Next is my aristocrats deck from the loot the body cube. Everyone starts with a hero token with tap: draw a card then discard a card. That's a radical context shift.This is one of my favorite archetypes and I also got to include Irencrag Pyromancer which is cracked in this cube.

Thread with some of my favorite decks from #cubecon 2026: @cubecon.org Kicking off with my 3-0 in How Bazaar, How Bazaar. This cube is the only true desert cube with no lands at all! Everyone starts with a Bazaar of Baghdad emblem to enable free madness. There are also lots of pitch spells

I may be overcorrecting from my very first Bodleian draft but I would rather take a cheap interactive spell (ts or swords) or premium threat over a fetch, especially before I know what colors I will need. 20 fetches out of 360 cards is a lot!

I've seen a letter from Washington to one of my ancestors directing him to pay his soldiers out of his personal funds and that the Continental Congress would pay him back when they get around to it. Big difference between putting responsibility on the officers and anonymous donors though!
