About 10% of housing is owned by private landlords, not enough to dramatically alter the market. Perhaps if the city was nt a crooked con game , they might have invested there . Better an asset you can touch.

What about the computer in your hand ? & Do you remember the 70s when the Sinclair Cambridge arrived? No hand held computers back IRL in Jetson days. No electric cars, no jet travel for the masses, little central heating , mostly B&W TVs, no household computers, no photocopiers (the Banda machine)
