Fortune’s Weave previews seem incredible but I’m legitimately so disappointed by this quote from @fionnthebrave.bsky.social’s piece. One day we’re going to get a truly great turn based RPG that doesn’t make me resort to AO3 to see queer joy with its characters.

The only irritation here is an odd insistence of ensuring you know the men of Fortune's Weave like women. When you view the character info panel for recruitable characters, most of the men have "women/womanizing/beautiful women/flirting with women" or some variation thereof on the list of things they like. Fire Emblem has always been somewhat regressive when it comes to acknowledging queer people, but this is just silly. It's like walking into a room full of men, and 60% of them immediately start saying "no homo" the second they look at you. Take a deep breath, guys. It'll all be okay.

That's credits on Monster Hunter Stories 3 A great rpg that improves on the formula established in the first 2 in both production value and narrative. About midway through, it becomes less interested in it's unique turn based strategy and asks you to grind instead Like every other great jrpg 😅

Games bsky is mad about Bluepoint (rightly) I'm wondering what the fuck is going on over a Marvel that the teaser for their next big thing (left) has so much juice that is COMPLETELY missing from the actual thing (right)

Teaser for Avengers Armageddon. It is mostly red with a superhero flying above rubble blocked out in a darker red. The words "With Great Power" cut through that dark red with the bright red. And there is a glowing white star on their chest. It's striking and powerful.

The cover for avengers Armageddon #1. It features Red Hulk prominently as well as Captain Marvel, Sue Storm, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Vision, Wolverine, and Captain America (Sam Wilson). It's in a very pencil-y art style and the graphic design looks like an extremely basic marvel cover.

This feels so goofy, but I implemented a grid layout in the simple cards v2 Godot library. I didn't build this balatro example. That's from the original dev. I just made the cards able to be lined up in a grid layout. I feel extremely accomplished.
