Matrices @matrices.bsky.social · 7hI live a very frugal life, in a simple way, i don't use or spend a lot of money so this is a huge thing to undertake for me. I'm nervous but confident at the same time. Otherwise I'll become a very big problem if the landlord doesn't sell to me. lol 🙈 2170
Matrices @matrices.bsky.social · 7hI haven't had the thought of buying a place since it's just seemed out of reach. But I'll have time to get approvals & loans since it won't be till spring things sell. I'm hoping I can do it. But I'll finally list a few fursuits I've been meaning to rehome for literal years. Probably do auctions fyi 2160
Matrices @matrices.bsky.social · 7hLife has been pretty good now that my septic tank crisis is over. I've had lots of wonderful friends come visit this summer & it feels like the BEST time I've ever had living here. Next tho I'm facing buying the property I rent tho. My landlord is looking to get out of renting and offered it to us. 2150
Matrices @matrices.bsky.social · 7hHmmm I haven't actually posted in a while. Life update: i went to the doctor finally & referred to physical therapy for some old arm nerve pain(if insurance allows 😔). An extremely nice friend is letting me borrow a bigscreen beyond headset. So I can reduce neck strain from nerve stuff when I VR. 4313

Matrices @matrices.bsky.social · 7hYes! Here's my plan: 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp baking soda to aid browning. Little lemon juice sprinkled on the sliced apples put into a buttered pan. Add enough melted butter on top to cover the surface (usually 4tb) then bake 375° for around 30min. 100

Matrices @matrices.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Ohhhhhh got it. Yea easy to get all the headset versions mixed up. Thanks for clarifying! 000

Matrices @matrices.bsky.social · 10/09/2026Yeah, that is true!!! Though I am not 100% sure if I want to be an early adopter for that. I like some things about it! But also I like/don't mind wired and have base stations already. 000
Matrices @matrices.bsky.social · 10/09/2026I feel like I need new enrichment in my enclosure. New/used toy or thing. My neck has been hurting lately (literally past 2 months ;_;) maybe some other new vr headset solution so I can see my friends and watch shows together with pals. But I just... there's no good solution right now, is there :/ 3150
Matrices @matrices.bsky.social · 10/09/2026There's a bug report about it, hopefully they fix it. Matrices @matrices.bsky.social · 02/09/2026I have a local WA friend seeking a maker who can do tailoring on the tummy & legs of their fursuit body. I offered some tips on DIY for adding elastic thread shirring as an alternate, but they may not have the time to do edits, so are seeking makers available for tailoring/body editing services! 355
Matrices @matrices.bsky.social · 02/09/2026Yeah! Seems honestly a good fit to simply try, can always do it for a month or more to buy time and get someplace later. Not many folks use a custom domain email address like I do so hoping to see what folks say if they do have a preference first! 000
Matrices @matrices.bsky.social · 02/09/2026I switched all of my services around this month and now just need an email solution since the things I got for the hosting of my website arent "classic" hosting providers any more. 110
Matrices @matrices.bsky.social · 02/09/2026Because of the dark patterns involved in me going through and cancelling some other services with them, I feel my email there is shaky and might disappear before my billing period ends later? in the week! 110
Matrices @matrices.bsky.social · 02/09/2026Yeah, trying to avoid google. My current one I use is network solutions, they are fine service-wise w/frustrating dark patterns when cancelling services. But I didnt pick them originally. They bought out the company that bought out the company that bought out the company I did originally pick, lol. 110
Matrices @matrices.bsky.social · 02/09/2026To be a bit more specific I prefer to download my emails thru pop3, and minimally use any web interface. So they do not need to be held on a server for long. I also found this spreadsheet: docs.google.com/spreadsheets... Matrices @matrices.bsky.social · 02/09/2026I know I am in the increasingly small number of people who use my own custom domain for sending emails. What service do y'all use?
