youtu.be/ECkVO4F_38I?... A curious week in the UK as the government decides to redraw language and reality to fit more comfortably with what it's engaged in - and with what its friends are engaged in. I oppose genocide: I support Palestine action.

Unbelievable. Donald Trump has been invited to a state visit to the UK. We should not be rolling out the red carpet to celebrate this man. Agree? Add your name to the petition today: you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/no...

No second state visit for Trump
Unbelievable. Keir Starmer has handed Donald Trump a letter from King Charles, inviting him for a second state visit to the UK. It’s totally unprecedented, and should not go ahead.  This is the...

The excellent @declassifieduk.org's work on Lord John Hutton's strong links to the Israel Military seeded this open letter to Cornwall Council, where he holds a leading role. Please help us challenge BAU in the face of a UK-supported genocide. www.change.org/p/regional-g... youtu.be/6VzfSrhNI44?...

This is what Christianity *should* be about: kindness, compassion & empathy. These are about as far from the hearts of Trump & his bible-bashing & billionaire backers as the rich man in hell was from Abraham & Lazarus in heaven. Bravo Bishop Budde.

✍️ LETTER FROM CRESSIE, CLIMATE PRISONER, pt. 1 💚 Cressie was sentenced to 4 years for appearing on a Zoom call. "I am learning a lot from women I meet and I am learning a lot about myself... If that’s not living life, what is?" 🦺 Support resistance in the courts: chuffed.org/project/supp... 1/2 →
Letter reading:

Hello everyone,
I am amazed by the sheer number of email, letters and postcards that are still coming through to me after 4 ½ months inside. I expected it to dwindle gradually, but no – I am still consistently love-bombed every week!

There are days where I really need it, to connect with the love and support that’s out there from you all. I’m still working in the prison gardens, though it’s broken up with other things like the Liberty choir and soon mentoring prisoners who have put themselves forward for help learning to read and write. The variety is helpful, particularly now it’s the time of where there’s not much work going on in the gardens.

I don’t want to dig or weed for the sake of it when nothing is being planted there, so finding things to do to keep warm and occupied is challenging, and the time we are required to spend down there can verge on utter pointlessness! We’re just having to be inventive – next on the list is washing the outside of the polytunnel. Lots of perennial herbs are still going strong, but the kitchens don’t use them, and still prisoners are forbidden from taking any out of the gardens. One woman got a bollicking for being caught with a single sprig of mint. It’s mint – the stuff spreads like wildfire! I want to make a fuss about this rule with the head of the gardens, because it is just so petty. Variety really is the spice of my life at the moment. Doing the same things in the same places with the same people all the time makes for a bit of a groundhog day. I try to find variety by noticing the seasonal changes around me, eating lunch in different spots, and always looking forward to visits which are the most stimulating of all. I feel very fortunate to be able to see people every week; I know some prisons allow far less, and many prisoners have very few because of distance or sadly a lack of visitors.
