Google is no longer a search engine. It is an answer machine. 🤖 You do not discover information anymore. You receive it. Filtered, summarized and served by AI. Sounds convenient. But who decides what is true? 👀
Infographic titled “Google Search is changing. What it means for you.” It compares how search worked before versus now. Previously users typed keywords, saw links and did their own research. Now AI answers questions directly, shows fewer links and summarizes the internet. The infographic highlights four practical changes: fewer clicks on websites, more AI generated answers, faster access to information and the need to always verify answers. It identifies bloggers, news websites, SEO creators and traffic dependent businesses as the most affected. It concludes that the new skill is creating real value that AI cannot copy, calling this the biggest change to search in 25 years and stating that search is now AI first.

The reading bottleneck is friction, not time. One rule fixes most of it: one device per context. Phone for 5-minute gaps with Pocket. E-reader for focused sessions, zero notifications. Stop counting hours. Count pages. 📖

A lot of recruiting outreach still assumes people will apply to job positions blindly. No company. No stack. No salary range. No reason to care. Then: “Send me your CV.” That market is fading fast.
A professional LinkedIn-style graphic split into two sections. On the left, bold text reads “A Note for Recruiters” and “Great talent deserves better outreach,” followed by a checklist of missing job details such as company name, tech stack, salary range, responsibilities, and benefits. On the right, a laptop screen displays a vague recruiter message asking for a CV for a Middleware DevOps Engineer role in Nicosia, Cyprus. A handwritten sticky note in front of the laptop says “The market changed” and highlights that experienced engineers no longer apply blindly and expect transparency from employers.

You do not abandon books. You never close them. No endpoint means no finish signal. Your brain keeps it open. Attention leaks. Define done. Define stop. Add a finish trigger. That is how books get finished.

World Book Day is a checkpoint, not a celebration. If you do not track frequency, consistency, capture, recall, and output, you have no reading system. No system leads to zero retention. Zero retention leads to zero impact. Readers measure. Everyone else forget.

Reading Careless People by Sarah Wynn-Williams. One line summary: An insider account of how people in Meta Platforms made decisions that shaped billions of lives. But the title kept bothering me. Careless People. The book slowly makes you think something else. Not Careless. Couldn’t Care Less.
Minimal graphic with the phrase Careless People crossed conceptually by the phrase Couldn’t Care Less People, highlighting the difference between negligence and indifference.

If AI writes everything for you, you are replaceable. Creators should stop treating AI like a ghostwriter. The real advantage is augmentation. You create the insight. AI strengthens the structure. Automation removes the creator. Augmentation amplifies the creator. #AIForCreators #CreatorEconomy

From my archive. TIME magazine, Gulf Special — January 1991. “January 15: Deadline for War.” The UN ultimatum to Iraq to withdraw from Kuwait was about to expire. Days later, Operation Desert Storm began. History rarely repeats exactly. But its patterns tend to return
Photo of a worn TIME magazine cover from January 1991 titled “Gulf Special.” The cover shows the eyes of Saddam Hussein behind large text reading “15” and the headline “Deadline for War,” referring to the UN deadline for Iraq to withdraw from Kuwait before the Gulf War.

Alt Text (English):
Sepia-toned artistic composite inspired by historical photos from Kaisariani, Greece, 1944. The upper section shows WWII-era military trucks unloading in an occupied urban setting. The lower section depicts condemned men lined up against a wall, with a soldier aiming a rifle at them. At the top appears the Greek lyric: “And in the open world the trucks will unload in Kaisariani.”

I asked AI to generate a caricature based on what it knows about me… and it gave me this. Burning logs, Disk Full, a 404 in the sky, and me holding kubectl and DEV COFFEE. If this isn’t accurate, nothing is. 😄
Illustrated caricature poster of a smiling man with an oversized head wearing a blue blazer and burgundy sweater, headphones around his neck. He holds a laptop showing the command “sudo kubectl get pods” and a steaming mug labeled “DEV COFFEE” sitting in a life ring. Around him are DevOps-themed details: flaming barrels labeled “LOGS” and “BUILD,” a pipeline machine labeled “TEST” and “DEPLOY,” a small “IaC” book, a dashboard with a red alarm and “Disk Full!” next to a Kubernetes logo, a “404” cloud, a small penguin, and a Cyprus flag in the background. Text reads “Marios the DevOps Engineer.”
