Very cool. I've used Merlin on the TLW many times but never heard some of these, like the peregrine or the meadow pipit. We do hear a tawny owl most nights from the Eaglescliffe bank though!

Looking at the number of non-PL teams in all nine of those 5th rounds, a PL team that was present in each of them would have a 0.04% chance of never facing a PL team, and 0.56% chance of facing at most one.If each of City's 115 charges was such a team you'd only expect 0.64 of them to be this lucky.

No-one will get in over a candidate that's stronger in the subject they are about to study because they got a higher Duke of Edinburgh award. But if you're equally as good as the other candidate for the last space while being a semi professional ballet dancer then the sky really is your limit.
