Visited the Design Museum in Milan, and among other beautiful things, I loved this small spot dedicated to one of my all time favourites: the Lettera 32, a Portable Typewriter designed by Marcello Nizzoli for Olivetti in 1963. Happy to have one that bought second handed a couple of years ago!

Open until 5pm, today’s the last chance to visit the wonderful exhibition Underground (and Surface) at Guildhall Art Gallery in the City of London. Jock McFadyen's large-scale Tube station paintings from the 1990s, with a soundscape by Jem Finer of The Pogues and Longplayer composed from field recordings on the Northern and Central Lines.
Also includes other McFadyen paintings of sketchy parts of the capital and some of his earlier works featuring people. It’s pay what you like and recommended

Good news, Underground (and Surface) at Guildhall Art Gallery is has extended to Sep 27. The exhibition combines Jock McFadyen’s large-scale 1990s Tube Station paintings with a soundscape by Jem Finer (of The Pogues and Longplayer) composed from recordings made on the Northern and Central Lines.

The London show on the Saint Etienne farewell tour at the Roundhouse was special, including supports Gwenno - pictured playing Y Gath, her paean to her cat - and Mozart Estate, led by Lawrence. The Roundhouse was the only tour date for Mozart Estate but Gwenno is also at Gateshead & Brighton.

Sunset over the London Stadium before the sun set on West Ham's League Cup campaign. Reality bites after the 6-0 Wrexham game. Fulham controlled the midfield & Palacios & Robinson ran the game. We equalised twice & Pablo finally scoring was brilliant. We had 3 late chances, but Fulham deserved it.

Not Goth Bauhaus, but an Italian jazz rock band, recorded live in the studio in 1974 in their only documented session but not released until 2003.
