🌎🌩️ Our new study in #NatureGeoscience reveals correlation between positive trends in damaging hail and temperature across Europe, but mixed signals in the other parts of the world. This study is a result of many years of fruitful collaboration between Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan and ESSL 🤝⤵️

Traveling today to #Utrecht for #ECSS2025 ⛈️🌪. This year I am presenting 3 posters, my talk on global storm environments is on Friday 11:15 + I co-author 15 other submissions (mostly #thundeR contributions). Can't wait to see my friends and interact with the community! 🙂🍺

Pretty surreal, but today a meteorological station installed in Litworowy Kocioł in Tatra Mountains in #Poland recorded a #temperature of -41.13°C (-42F). This is the lowest temperature EVER recorded in Poland. You can find the link to this unique project on the attached screenshot.
