Thian & Zarvin is the result of nostalgia, anger, existential dread and a need to see silly guys doing stupid things. It still is what keeps me going despite it all ever since I came up with it a few years back. You can read the first 2 issues for FREE online: tnz.webcomic.ws #comicoop #comics

I'll start: I've been busy with my comic Thian & Zarvin but I've also been rediscovering digital art to try and recover from burnout. Drawing stuff for myself mostly. Enjoy! My comic: tnz.webcomic.ws

I know I'm a few days late, but I finally got over the 3K mark, so let's do something I haven't done in a while: an ARTSHARE! Show me what you've been up to! Interact, share, have fun! #artshare #art #artsky

Image of a glowing plant on a brick background, the text showing: "3000 followers ARTSHARE! Share your art, use alt text, comment and share, no ai/nft (obviously)"

btw, are we planning to do anything about this doom spiral our system created?

A vicious cycle, where someone doesn't have money, so they can't afford therapy or medication, so their mental health declines, which makes them not able to work, so they don't have money, etc.

The Glendale Archives is right up my alley. Watch it if you're into analog horror! #art #horror #analoghorror

Cartoony drawing of The Subject, the main character of The Glendale Archives. A young man with a beard and long brown hair wearing outdoors clothing and holding a camcorder. There are multiple drawings of food and creepy figures around him.

Stop scrolling and post two characters that bring you happiness ✨ Easiest answer in the world for me #TnZ #art #artsky #ocsky

Large book cover for Thian & Zarvin, showing two cartoony characters, an asian emo girl with black hair underdyed teal, and a tan guy with black hair pulled back except for a blonde tuft and wearing a songkok, walking behind a small pink and green robot that's leaking something on the floor. Behind them is a collage of floating heads and machines in tones of purple.

Comic panel showing two characters looking at each other. On the left, an emo asian girl with short black hair underdyed teal, on the right a tan-skinned muslim man with chin beard, hair pulled back except for a blonde tuft and wearing a songkok. They are both drawn in a style similar to franco-belgian cartoons.

Interesting. I think the reason is that higher budget movies, especially disney, are trying to appear more serious to sell kids stories to adults, while in the more low budget side artists are going through a kind of new artistic movement based on juxtaposition of dark themes with bight presentation

Tip: give your characters unique silhouettes so you can do cool shit like this #TnZ #comic #webcomic

two silhouettes falling off of a platform inside a factory setting

a silhouette of a man stepping on some wreckage

a silhouette of a tall woman and a shorer overweight man walking away in a purple setting

silhouette of an emo girl sitting at the bottom of massive stairs
