Now that we know there's an outfit system separate from the FITS system in Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, surely this is a golden opportunity to use all the outfits from Ever Crisis right?

#FFTCG Opus 31 will contain a new mechanic! "a new gameplay mechanic called Level Up will be introduced. Characters with the ability can be played on top of a card with the same name already on the field by paying the required Level Up cost. This allows them to evolve into more powerful characters"

With the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy wrapping up, I hope they release a way to carry over progress from each game. Could be cool to keep your levels, materia, etc from Remake -> Rebirth -> Revelation. Maybe as a new game + feature or something.

Three of the top five Limit Break cards in tournament decks are Water: Leo (22-123R), Lunafreya (23-129H), and Tidus (22-122L). The only non-Water cards in the top five are Zack (22-112R) in Fire and Cloud in Lightning. I wonder if anything will ever take the crown from Leo. #FFTCG #LimitBreak

What's the best Final Fantasy villain, and I don't just mean the final boss? Kuja, Ardyn, Golbez, Caius, Vayne. The series has a deep roster of antagonists. Who's your pick? #FinalFantasy #FFTCG

What was the first Final Fantasy you ever played? For a lot of us it was VII, but I'm curious how many FFTCG players got started somewhere else entirely. VIII was my first. #FFTCG #FinalFantasy

What's one mechanic from a Final Fantasy game you think would translate perfectly into an FFTCG mechanic? Limit Breaks already made it in. What else deserves a shot?

FFXIV went from one of the worst reviewed MMOs at launch to one of the most beloved. The turnaround with A Realm Reborn is one of the best redemption stories in gaming history. I'm happy that my favorite MMO is still going strong and has made it into my favorite TCG.

010

materiahunter @materiahunter.com · 07/04/2026

Cute FFTS art by Ryoma Ito. They also do the art for the Moogle Bounty Mayhem board game, which is a new category in FFTCG this set. Are there any Final Fantasy games that there are no FFTCG cards for? If so, which title should they bring to FFTCG next?

This Rosa art by Sara Shimokobe is stunning. What is your favorite art from the new Final Fantasy TCG set Dreamlike Oceans? materiahunter.com/cards/28-114L
