Discord server I'm in is doing a best video game music tournament and I decided to submit music for it, most entries being less common picks since I want people to check out the soundtrack for each game. The song I picked from Hotel Dusk is going against Aerith's theme round 1.

Got to meet Jamieson Price, one of my personal favorite voiceactors. I always wanted to meet the announcer for Super Street Fighter 4, have to be in my top 5 favorite announcers.

Heatwave was a interesting experience this year. I got pretty disappointed with how I performed in nasb 2, it stinks but I got over it. Hotel me and my friend Fint were staying at was bad. Despite that, I had a great time, hanging out with my friends made it worth it in the end.

Feeling frustrated with how I play in a online tournament. Worst part is I'm traveling to a out of state tournament soon and I can't help but feel like I'm going to underperformed. I want to get strong but I can't help but feel weak. Maybe thinking like Shirou Emiya will fix that.

Riptide is basically over, pretty fun time but what Coney said is true where more people rather play smash than watch top 8. Like other majors I go to do have plenty of people playing casual as well but their top 8 is pretty crowded. This might just be more of a Riptide thing.

In Canada for a small tournament that is only happening for a day, took me about 6 hours to drive here.

Been playing Granblue recently and already got Metera to S++ rank. Having only 21 hours of playtime, that isn't too bad. Going to try reach master with her soon and start competing in tournaments. Overall a pretty fun fighter.

Groundhog day scenario where you must win a major in order to break free. It could be any main game and checkpoints only if all of your pools are done for each day. Could you win Evo with basically infinite retries.

Used my Chipotle card and I thought it would be funny to put everything on my bowl, this was funny for 2 seconds, this is how I feel now, I deserve this.

Next trip is Canada for a tournament I'm going to but the big one is Riptide in Ohio. Work prevented me from going but now I should be able to go.

This was my first Evo ever and it was a wonderful experience. A week before, I went through a tough experience so this trip really help me through it. While there were some stuff I miss out on, it was still spectacular. Coming back next year for sure, see ya Vegas.

I was planning on going as myself for the last day but fuck it, being spidey again and I'm going to the front row. Waking up early so I can remain in the front forever.

Was hoping to meet the Sonic meme guy @turbojehtt.net at the Sajam Slam meet & greet however the line was already full after meeting Shinkiro, lucky for me, he was too good at Street Fighter to be here. Also met @izziibel.bsky.social as well.

Flying to Las Vegas soon to watch James Gunn Superman with a friend who haven't seen it yet. Oh and going to some small local called Evo, I think they're hosting Street Fighter or something.

Ok Nintendo Direct, about what I expected but regardless, today is my flight to Evo. This is going to be my first Evo ever, I been meaning to go for years but now is finally my chance.

I'm fine as of right now and they don't seem aware of my socials thankfully. It's going to take awhile to move on from this. With no harassment received so far, I'm comfortable returning. Evo is coming and I wanna focus on having a fun time. Thanks for the support everyone.

This was nothing but a plan to blackmail me for money. If I don't, not only will a very private photo get leaked but a false accusation will be thrown in as well to ruin my reputation. I reported it and they could have been bluffing, but it has been very stressful to deal with.

I was talking with my friend @fint.bsky.social about our bracket placement for Evo, they came across a certain player tag that somehow went unnoticed lol.

The new Superman is great, super even. While I went in with very high expectations that didn't quite fulfill for me, I still love it. Looking forward to the future of this new dc cinematic universe.

For this year 4th of July, someone should recreate that iconic moment in Independence Day with the White House while the president is inside and unaware.

Evo is happening next month, for years I always dreamed of going to one since learning about it in 2013 or 2014 I think. I miss out on E3 so at the very least I get to go to at least one. Glad that the first one I'm going is bringing back top 8.

Replaying Soul Calibur 2 on Switch 2 made me a bit sad that we are likely not getting a Soul Calibur 7 any time soon.

Does anyone remember the time when before Yakuza became popular in the west, it was referred to as Japanese gta. Feels like I never see that comment ever since then which is nice.

What if you land the game winning combo only for the tunnel effect to happen in game, how would you react.

This might be cope but with how Marvel been open with working with multiple different game companies, I do think a new mvc will happen. Now we just gotta wait 5-6 years for Arcsys to be done so Capcom can start developing it.

Not sure why people are surprised with Ryu being a top tier in the new patch, he been training for awhile and now he reached his full potential. If he ever recieve a nerf again, it's him holding back.

Hearing the rumors about the guest characters coming to the new Sonic racing game got me thinking, why not just make it a new Sega All Star game. I want Kiryu and SpongeBob racing against each other dammit.
