Mathieu @mat.zelk.space · 26/09/2026bluesky lacks of live audio like clubhouse or twitters spaces. I miss talking with people about anything 000

Mathieu @mat.zelk.space · 21/09/2026if they still have a doubt, we can add the provider pds icon so they can see whether their account is on bluesky, eurosky or whatever, but it can also be confusing 000
Mathieu @mat.zelk.space · 21/09/2026Choosing between a few providers only can be confusing. If a regular user types its pseudo, they'll see their pseudo first, then the provider right after (e.g. under the .bsky.social). We can also add an Atmosphere mention when we have to type our handles, smt like "login with the atmosphere" 100
Mathieu @mat.zelk.space · 20/09/2026yes, however we can log in way more records in a custom pds than on bsky/eurosky I imported over 80000 Apple Music records through malachite in less than an hour (and without any issue on the relay limit rate), does it mean the same import with a bsky pds take like MUCH longer (1600 records/hour)? 000
Mathieu @mat.zelk.space · 20/09/2026my goal is to create the import page, then create the webhooks for radarr/sonarr/plex/kodi(?)/jellyfin(?), and then create a social interface to log movies/tv shows and interact with your followers 000
Mathieu @mat.zelk.space · 20/09/2026anyway my script trakt -> atproto works well, I might add letterboxd, maybe sofatime/symkl and bingers in the next few days, then create a website so it can be available to everyone 100
Mathieu @mat.zelk.space · 20/09/2026so if I understand well, only personal pds can import thousands of records in a few seconds? it seems like eurosky and bluesky are strictly limited to 1600 records per hour 110
Mathieu @mat.zelk.space · 20/09/2026bc I'm trying to run a script that imports trakt data, but I can only write 1600 records per hour, while I was able to write ten thousands of records under an hour with Malachite 010
Mathieu @mat.zelk.space · 20/09/2026Hey @ewancroft.uk, how did you bypass the rate limit that a PDS can write for malachite? 100

Mathieu @mat.zelk.space · 19/09/2026what kind of products/features do you plan to launch with jollywhoopers? bc like omg.lol, you could use the same name for some hosting stuff such as email, pds, fediverse(?), cloud... and a different name for the different product apps 000

Mathieu @mat.zelk.space · 07/09/2026you can try beeper, it’s based on matrix and they have an open source part where you can self host your messaging bridges also it’s an app from automaticc I wouldn’t be surprised if they implement some atmosphere apps in a near future 030
Mathieu @mat.zelk.space · 07/09/2026I use matrix through @beeper.com but honestly it’s one of my favorite messaging 040
