Up at the ass-crack of dawn for work. Back to gray and cloudy days. At least it's Humpday (and I wish that wasn't merely figurative). Oh well, I do have a couple of dinner dates this weekend. Life is still pretty good.

Damn... I looked into buying some steamed crabs for today's BBQ, and - more than $100/dozen and over $400/bushel. I think this must be what they mean when they talk about Special Holiday Pricing! I'll do without the crabs today.

My house is a wreck, my Christmas decorations are still buried in boxes (somewhere) from moving, and yet... It snowed lightly on the way home from work and I feel like Christmas. I don't need decorations. Only 5 more days to go!
