A revision to the cast with the new VV2e Player Guide. The characters feel more robust and I’m able to load up the Monster Hunter references. Their story is still shallow but their relationships have been maintained. I’m looking forward to the new world map!

Well that went a direction. Reminds me I had always wanted to see a Fur con for myself. The female equine suit is absolutely inspired by Fiona Maray, who I only discovered yesterday. Meanwhile the cat head is based on a MonHun Palico mask.

Oki at Level5 I gave up playing at Lv1 25 years ago. I figure if I can’t get a character dialed in by their half way mark, I’m off the mark in some way. Projecting this far in this system is probably still on the aggressive side BUT I cannot imagine the challenge level going forward. Which is good!

I think I’m about as caught up as I can get right now. I found several versions of V&V character sheets. Making these sheets is a balancing act between antiseptic utilitarian data tracking and some form of clever aesthetic integration. I will applaud anyone who keeps it all on one page!

@viceandviolence.bsky.social Some more concepts and a faux cover spread. I now have a better understanding of the power threshold in V&V so I toned down the character and am instead once again leaning into Monster Hunter, styling him into an SnS user! Additional characters are gonna be easier now.

+3 Mechs by Size MonBuilder will allow for 5 Sizes of “Power Armor”, 4 Sizes of “Warsuit” and 3 Sizes of “Walking Tank”. Super Robots and Kaiju are allowed too but they use the same stats at a different scale. These War Golems can level a few battlefields but the Steam Tanks are cheaper all around.

+1 Who is Fi’Jit? A descendant of a Troglagob family that migrated inland, breeding with other Goblin tribes until settling in the swamp at the base of the Black Falls that feed the Skull River. Over generations they lost their webbing and gills and became more tolerant of sunlight and heat.

Lord Charon Din Master of the Stygian Hive Seen here with a GUO preparing to possess a captured void ship. The Stygian Hive is a warband under the Ferrymen that specializes in boarding and stealing ships. They stalk the vessels and corrupt the crew with curses and plagues.

+1 The Iron Barons The Iron Barrens are a desert of rust created by the mountain dwarfs after excavating the Lorelan Crater. The Gnomes were meant to temper them but failed. This scar turned the sea acidic and offended the Fire God that he turns a blind eye to the attacks from the Sea Dragon Kraken.

+2 Maps These maps are prototypes for the MonBuilder SciFi module. Our Space Technician has a small shuttle craft that can carry 3 but i just could not settle on a single concept. Stacking shipping container apartments created an easy multi-tier maze that should be really useful when cleaned up.

+1 3D Tinkercad has been a fun app to use. It has an AR mode and can translate objects to Minecraft and LEGO builds, making it a wonderful tool for me. As I understand it, only the mobile version has the AR mode.

“Making of - Love on the Pitch” The Wi’Jit Wagon (named for Oswin and Fi’Jit) is the couples first home together. The studio purchased it in Tilea after Fi’Jit was attacked in the mountains. It’s a refurbished bankers cart that had been burned and survived. It’s heavy and reinforced with iron.
