I've sorta started another story , unsure if I'll do anything more with it, but its kinda interesting. It's not really robot related , but it's not hypno. Overall carries a more robot energy to it, but it's magic , and it's not a golem or something either. But idk it has a vibe.

I would have never planned on moving to suburban San Francisco. But the job market is tough these days. After looking for a robotics job in the Eastern u.s for months , nothing turned up , so I had to turn to the west. Luckily I got an email from Ersatz before I even increased my LinkedIn range.

For ersatz humanoids I'm thinking a logo of like big text ersatz and then below it smaller text humanoids, seperated by a line. A cleaner more tech company style font than the font EdenRobotics uses. It might be printed on the androids somewhere but probably really small, absent on some models.

Tempted to invent a seccond android company for my work with somewhat different vibes. Basically I have a design philosophy for EdenRobotics which mostly follows my own ethics. However for some stuff that is hot but IMO immoral I could add a seccond company in world.

The weird thing about drawing a lot of (not outwardly obvious) robots is that stuff that you would *normally* want to avoid as an artist (stiff, unemotional posing, spaced out eyes, dull surprise) suddenly become good? (I think making it interesting with framing etc as well is important still tho)

If you're trying to model hair it's often a good idea to start with the lower part of the head and slowly work your way to the top, which means if you ever stop in the middle it looks like they got that old man baldness.
