I think Wizard is the hardest to run because they are on the same power curve as the PCs. They need an edge of some kind. That’s where preparation, or external power sources, or a powerful servant-creation comes in. How to make it challenging when the PCs can cast Wish and Time Stop?

Play to their strengths, if a Wizard they are super-intelligent. They would create a situation where the odds are in their favour. Fake-outs. Simulacra. Traps. But everything depends on their character. Could be fortified at a Place of Power. Or they always get away until finally cornered

You could take inspiration from Sam Wilson: Androids, Aliens, or Wizards. Androids are artefacts - something constructed that developed a mind of their own. Aliens are powerful cosmic entities - Far Realm, Fey, Elemental etc. Wizards could be any mortal magic-wielders who seek world-shaking power.

When foundational knowledge is taught at high school, then many more people will have exposure to these ideas. You shouldn’t need to pay to be a well-rounded participant in society. It is in the interest of all democracies to achieve this. Be suspicious of those who restrict knowledge.

So we have this mantage of Frieren just ... doing solo walking around for 50 years ... she is still best friends wih those adventures she und out with for 10 years ... but she is doing her thing. This is very similar to how many Autistic people socialize ... bonded without upkeep.

Oh, I absolutely agree. Part of the reason I left the UK three years ago was that it didn’t offer the same opportunities as it had when we were part of the EU. But my point is that the States aren’t United by consent. There is no option to leave. They are locked into a dysfunctional relationship.
