It’s great having him alongside his Shin version and his Showa buddy Ultraman. A great figure for my newest Tokusatsu obsession.

Here he is the OG Kamen Rider. The SHFSS line are even more deluxe versions of the already premium SHF line and he looks fantastic. He comes with tons of hands, posable fabric scarf, and a base big enough to hold his bike (and you bet Imma get one of those). He’s ready to kick some Nazi butt.

This line also replicates the switching armor gimmick from the show, allowing to you mix and match riders with the different armors, so you can give Geats the Zombie forms and Buffa the Boost/Magnum forms. These add a lot of fun to some already great figures.

He has a big ol bull theme and his favored armor is the Zombie attachment. This one is in his “ultimate” Zombie Fever form which includes both the upper and lower Zombie attachments. He has a Chainsaw sword. He’s a jerk. He looks amazing.

Is the rest of this week Kamen Rider week? I think it might be! Today’s Figure of the Day is the SH Figuarts Kamen Rider Buffa Fever Zombie form! Buffa is the antagonist(ish) rival rider from Kamen Rider.

He’s got removable and rotatable buckle gimmicks, and a bunch of removable parts so he can swap forms with other figures that I don’t have (Yet!). And also guns. Lots of guns. He’s a great figure and a good start to my burgeoning Rider collection.

I’m very much looking forward to exploring the rest of the franchise. Geats is a fox themed Rider whose series gimmicks involve switchable upgrades, and Magnum Boost is his favored form. He is a very fun and charismatic protagonist that just like his outfit, drips cool.

Today’s Figure of the Day is the SH Figuarts Kamen Rider Geats Magnum Boost form! I think I’m officially a Rider fan. After I finished Zero-One (which I quite enjoyed), I started watching Geats. And man am I having a blast. I dont think I’ve ever watched a show with such high octane fun action.

Today’s Tf Tuesday Figure of the Day is the Transformers: Vintage Beast Wars Iguanus! Man these early BW figures were something else. I still love how poseable they are given that they’re from 30 years ago now. And he’s got a fun spring loaded transformation!

Today’s Mini Monday Figures of the Day are the Monsters of Horror on the Orient Express! And there are a lot of them! Some were more fun then others but I managed to keep their game necessary red/green/blue color schemes.

Scorpious is another mutant like the Indominous. It is a twisted abomination that always looks and acts like its in pain. The figure comes with alternate hands and a nifty drool effect, but I cant help but think it’s a step down from the Allosaurus or Concavtor.

Master Fwiffo @masterfwiffo.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

Today’s figure of the day is the Hammond Collection Scorpious Rex! Hailing from the shockingly good Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous - a show that nearly did for the JW films what Clone Wars did for the prequels,

Master Fwiffo @masterfwiffo.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

He looks like skeletor, he has a flaming scythe and his frikken toes are skulls. This guy is exactly what I’d want a Monster Truck Tf to be. My only hang ups are a couple unnecessary parts forming and a bit of confusion on where the extra flames fit on the scythe. But overall this guy is awesome.

Today’s TF Tuesday Figure of the Day is the Transformers x Monster Jam Grave Digger Grim! My Hot Wheels TFs now have a proper foe, and appropriately debuting in spooky season! This is another home run crossover, with a stunning vehicle mode deco and the most edgelord extra robot mode in history.

Master Fwiffo @masterfwiffo.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

In addition, the expansions added a few more characters, a couple cats, and a bunch of real neat (but ultimately superfluous) clues, as well as the Orient Express itself. I haven’t managed to get this to the table a second time yet but with spooky season here it’s definitely a good time for it!

Today’s Mini Monday Figures of the Day are the Characters and Clues of Horror in the Orient Express! That bunch of boxes came with a bigger bunch of minis. The original box came with 6 Investigators and 6 Suspects, while one of the expansions made it so all characters could be either.

Today’s Figure of the Day is the Hammond Collection Triceratops! One of the first Hammond Collection figures was also one of the weakest. Almost no poseability and too small, but he looks great in exactly one pose.

Today’s Figure of the Day is the TMNT x Godzilla Shredder as MechaGodzilla! Gotta have an opponent for the Turtles! While I maintain he should have been Ghidorah, I can’t deny that he looks frikken sick as Mechagodzilla. A worthy opponent indeed!

He looks excellent, and comes with a super tiny version of himself to replicate JJs growing ability. He rounds out the team quite nicely! They can now assemble to take on… a techno-terror…

Today’s Figure of the Day is the TMNT x Godzilla Donatello X Jet Jaguar! The year of the crossover continues as Donnie finally joins his brothers. Jet Jaguar was an inspired choice for the guy who does machines - certainly more fitting than poor Mikey as King Ghidorah.

Of the Studio Series, I still think Soundwave is my favorite con, followed by Megs, Screamer then Shockwave. All of them look straight out of the cartoon and have all the articulation they need. I’ve also added Cell Shaded style windows via Toyhax to all of them too, and I love them.

Today’s Mini Monday Figure of the Day is the Epic Day Encounters Lair of the Drider! I’ve never actually run a Drider yet. Most the minis I’ve seen are boring, but Epic Encounters distinctive spin on it makes it feel like an ancient horror.

Today’s Figure of the Day is the Neca Godzilla 1964! From Mothra Vs Godzilla, this suit is a fan favorite. Now that I’m deep in the articulated woods, I’d like to get the SH Monsterarts version of this figure.

The second of my Kamen Rider Zero-one figures, Vulcan is Zero-One’s sidekick frenemie. Unlike Zero-One, his transformation involves LITERALLY PUNCHING A BULLET. Have I mentioned this show is crazy yet? He’s got a sleek asymmetric design, his shot ride gun/belt, and a Shotgun. He’s pretty awesome.

Rising Hopper is the base form of the Titular Zero-One, and much like his OG predecessor, is grasshopper themed. He looks spectacular and has excellent poseability. Also his yellow glows under a black light. It’s sweet. He also has his very silly briefcase sword.

Master Fwiffo @masterfwiffo.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Zero-One has a lot in common w/ Ultraman Z (easily my favorite of the modern series). It’s goofy, toyetic, silly, and shockingly deep and somber at times. And just like Z, it was made during Covid and you can tell when it hit as all the background extras suddenly disappear. I’m enjoying it a lot.

I’ve watched a bit of the original series (the dude kicks Nazis, like actual Nazis. Bad ass.), and really enjoyed the insanity that was Shin Kamen Rider. I’m in the mood for something new, so I’ve dived in with the newest series My-Th premiering and with one of the more recent series, Zero-One!

“RISING HOPPPREERR! A jump to the sky turns to a Rider Kick.” Today’s Figure of the Day os the SH Figuarts Kamen Rider Zero-One Rising Hopper! This was inevitable I suppose. Kamen Rider has been on the periphery of my interests for awhile, being one of the Four Icons of Tokusatsu.

This 10 pack features a bunch of random BotBot molds repainted to look like a bunch of G1 figures. From Optimus Coffecup to the Soundwave Phone, these are real cute. Unfortunately the screen printed faces… aren’t.

There’s a lot to like here. The van is dead on, and Scooby as a box of Scooby Snacks is absolute genius. Unfortunately the figure makes a lot of compromises for the cute but silly head rotating gimmick. Fred is my favored head but all look good. Now give us the Flinstones Car.

It’s a mix of many different minis, some official releases, many painted by me, and several - including the Frostmaiden herself - 3d Printed and Painted by me. From the Chardalyn Dragon to Iskara the Roc and Three Kobolds in a Trenchcoat, this was one of the best campaigns I’ve ever run.
