Tonight's Starlink launch from Vandenberg SFB. In the broadcast, the Falcon 9 was barely visible from the pad cameras, but weather was clear enough south to Goleta to get this shot. First time trying out a wide angle adapter.

California is a lawless unlivable wasteland of crime, taxes, and overregulation. Avoid at all costs.

"well, that escalated quickly." Amazing visualization of every space launch in history, guiding the simple realization that we are in the second Golden Age of space. youtu.be/yHNKzQLNiuY?...

Tonight's Starlink launch from VSFB. Decided to haul out the DSLR & tripod. Launch photography is uniquely challenging: you only get one shot at the action, and the iteration cycle to improve is slow due to launch cadence, but that makes it a worthy quest. Not the best, but I'll be trying again.
