New paper! Bratti et al. study whether COVID-19 reshaped firms’ hiring toward work-from-home-suitable jobs in Italy. Harder-hit areas saw an increase in WFH hires, especially permanent contracts, but the effect was short-lived. www.journals.uchicago.edu/doi/10.1086/742272 #WorkFromHome #HealthEcon
