Tomorrow is a holiday. I'll still be very busy.

It was good to have one of my footy teams win today.

The abundance of injuries in Professional Wrestling matches tells me that the wrestlers should probably not do as much as they do in matches. I think it's time to slow the matches down and do less risky things. Save the high risk spots for more high profile, high stakes events.

It's available on streaming services. Also, the DVD has a decent amount of extra content.

If you haven't seen it, find and watch the video version of this. It adds so much to it.

One of the greatest recorded music sessions of ALL TIME. I love listening to it. I also get depressed listening to it. It showed how versatile Nirvana was and how much more potential was there.

Ted Lasso is great. Both the show and the character.

I met a cast member of the Mandalorian today and perfectly worked "this is the way" into a conversation. Did anyone else get to do that?

The ratings for Journeyman weren't great, but they weren't bad. I really liked the show and I fully believe that if the 2007 Writers Guild Strike didn't happen (or was settled quicker), a second season could have been made.

If the predicted food shortages start, how will they blame Biden? Or even better, maybe Barack Hussein Obama?

22 years ago, I took the day off from work to listen to the XM Radio debut of the Opie & Anthony Show. There were no portable XM radios at the time, so I just drove around for a few hours while listening to the show. They were THE best thing on radio at the time. You can't convince me otherwise.

Tonight's AEW was beautiful. As the sign in the crowd said "Gravity may have forgotten, but we won't."

A simple message to anyone that is upset that WWE is still streaming their show tonight against AEW's PAC tribute on Dynamite. You don't need to watch WWE's show. It's that simple. Don't watch it. Watch AEW or whatever else you want to watch. You have a choice.

To some people, the Transformers, and other cartoons, meant a lot more than just 30 minutes of tv viewing after school. I've tried to discuss their impact in a blog entry. Feel free to read and comment.

I knew of Pac before he was in WWE. I followed him in NXT and then when they moved him up. He was one of the first big "free agent" signings for AEW. His matches were always something that I looked forward to seeing. I'm at a loss. "The Bastard" Pac (8/22/1986 - 9/27/26).

A fun fact that I was aware from the moment that I got my original #Dreadnoks figures in the 1980s: Their real names are based on an 1889 bedtime poem, "Wynken, Blynken, and Nod." Torch = Tom Winken Buzzer = Richard Blinken-Smythe Ripper = Harry Nod #ColdSlither

Five years ago today, @allelitewrestling.com hosted one of the most important shows in their brief history. I was fortunate enough to be in attendance. A friend of mine was watching on TV and said he had to turn the volume down because the crowd was so loud.

Is it possible to see fewer activities that should send people to prison during wrestling shows? It's one thing to commit the crime, it's another thing to do it on camera for everyone to see. Shock value is nice. Believability is nicer. And this is not limited to WWE.

I remember when polio put my friends into iron lungs. We lined up at school to get vaccinated. We eradicated the disease. We protected the common good and saved lives. Now, two unvaccinated people have died from measles. What RFK Jr. is doing to public health in America is a disgrace.

"'Till all are one." The LITERAL voice of my generation. Peter Cullen (7/28/1941 - 8/26/2026).

For many people, myself included, Peter Cullen was the voice of our generation. In a literal sense. He is one of the most prolific voice actors of all time. He provided the voice for Eeyore from the Winnie the Pooh cartoons. He was the voice of a few characters from the original Voltron cartoons, including the narration of it. He also did countless voices and sound effects on so many tv shows, movies, and video games.

But, he is by far, best known as THE voice of Optimus Prime from the Transformers. With such memorable, and often repeated, quotes such as "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings" and 'Till all are one," Optimus Prime (through Peter Cullen's voice) provided guidance, calm, and and even fatherly advice for children for decades.

This one hits me harder than a shot from Megatron.

Thank you for everything Peter. You left your mark.

Peter Cullen (7/28/1941 - 8/26/2026).
