We’re 99% sure they’re using a facial recognition search engine and it doesn’t turn up results from my partner wearing respirators. If the protection from respirstory hazards wasn’t enough reason to wear a mask for you, consider the aspect of facial recognition tech.

Fun fact about respirators: A bunch of right wing troll farms and politicians on twitter have spent days trying to dox my partner, who has continued to wear respirators for 5 years now. So, while the trolls managed to dig up a bunch of pics, every single one is from prior to 2020.
