I just want to live a life to a standard that never makes 50 Cent angry with me

This Russell Crow Robin Hood movie is not that bad, it's no Man in Tighs, but it's not that bad.

Let's be honest, the most embarrassing thing is not the cheating, it's being at a Coldplay concert.

Life can be complicated and, honestly, shitty. But sometimes it can also be a balmy evening in a north London pub while a guy butchers Wonderwall with a new @kjcharleswriter.com book about a corseted copper and a copper little shit

One of the wildest convos I've had in Argentina (so strap in) was with people that voted for Milei and were picking and choosing out of all the madness which bits he was actually going to do and which were him "just making the liberals mad" They told you who they are, and what they were going to do

I remember this painting maybe once a month, and it breaks my heart every time.

Honestly, I blame us Gen X, a generation to prove that scepticism builds nothing.

On a Friday night on a pub in London you can find somebody that easily reminds you of Norah Jones

As horrible as the LA fires are, I find it sort of a bittersweet watch, like I did in the pandemic, to see the world realising what Latin people have known for a long time: community is the only thing that will keep you alive.

She has hits with songs like "Paper Roses" and served as a spokesperson for Florida orange juice before her career came crashing down.

Just one thing to all people that thought they could not take sides on the issue of the Palestinian genocide: You have opened the doors for Trumpers and their delusional colonization wet dreams. You showed them they can do whatever without consequence.

Second on my list and this is a yearly re read @kjcharleswriter.com Will Darling adventures, the whole three books (which I have in all formats but I cannot recommend the audio enough). They are both idiots, and I love them. Got me through the pandemic. www.audible.co.uk/pd/170523768...

Slippery Creatures
Check out this great listen on Audible.com. Will Darling came back from the Great War with a few scars, a lot of medals, and no idea what to do next. Inheriting his uncle's chaotic secondhand bookshop...

A beautiful cover of a gorgeous Black woman getting it on with a super hot Black fireman while holding mistletoe Uber her head, not that he needed an excuse really.

I'm going to start singing the praises of the wonderful books I read because we all need some positivity.

Today is 5th of January and I have yet not read any new books. I have re read the whole Will Darling adventures because my comfort default is always KJ Charles, but this is not looking good for my year goals.

You would be surprised to believe this elegant gentleman is part Jack Russell but he stayed awake all of last night and he found the rat (not metaphorically sadly) today. Waiting for pest control is one way to start the year.

I'm reading it right now as my 90th book of 2024 and really enjoying it! (Kinda hoping it's a why choose, but that's beyond the point)

So much this. I was in uni studying computer science in '98, and what the teachers were saying is that this windfall of work to prepare for Y2K was not going to happen again and to create better systems to avoid it in future. Y2K should be lauded as the immense success of communal work that it was.

Sometimes having absolute velcro dogs is helpful actually.
A mop of white curls in the shape of a dog without any intention of doing anything other than nap all day with a Kindle on him, making him an expected and rather more useful than anybody expected, book stand.
The kindle shows a page of A Nobleman's Guide To Seducing A Scoundrel and I cannot recommend it enough.

I reread many books every year. This time it was in audiobook form, and I have to say, the absolute relish in the the voice actor playing Sam Vimes really, incredibly, improves the material. Which I did not think possible.

Some times your obsession for monochrome with dashes of primary colours pays off in unexpected ways.

Just putting this here to time stamp the fact that my dogs do indeed nap all day regardless of what everybody that visits my house might experience. Also, I'm sorry, please do come back.

There's really nothing like rereading your favourite books over and over for comfort. I'm on my 3rd re-read of the magpie lord (this year, this time in audio) and I'm just so relaxed every time I hit play. (Yes, I'm in autistic assessment, why you ask?)

@kjcharleswriter.com just came here to tell you that in a very trying personal time I found the Will Darling series is in audible and have found myself getting solace from these two idiots even tho I've already read the books. Thank you. Eternally.
