That’s why our government is launching Alto – Canada’s first high-speed rail network. With speeds up to 300 km/h, Alto will cut train travel times in half! As Canada’s largest-ever infrastructure project, it will create over 51,000 jobs and enhance productivity for decades to come. 👏

With over 50,000 Indigenous-owned businesses contributing more than $50 billion to the Canadian economy each year, the potential for expanded trade with Indigenous entrepreneurs is immense. Indigenous women, in particular, are a powerful force, leading in areas like clean energy and tourism.

In Australia, I participated in an Indigenous Trade Circle alongside incredible Indigenous business leaders from both Canada and Australia. Our free trade agreements, like the Indigenous Peoples Economic and Trade Cooperation Arrangement (IPETCA), support inclusive growth.
