If you can put your ballot in a drop box at a state elections office - so much the better. Especially when they're open while you drop your ballot inside. Of course, that was in a state where they counted ballots as they came in but didn't release the totals until election.

Oh. And Mac & cheese is not just melted cheese in cooked noodles. Must have a lovely béchamel sauce in which the cheese is melted. Ideally baked with seasoned crumbs on top. They were so proud & I didn’t have the heart to tell them. On the other hand I did get to see the oil content of inexpensive 🧀

As a person who gave the USPS 250k mail pieces 5 days a week I have either voted in person or dropped my absentee at the election office since 2008. One would have to be off their rocker to put their ballot in any Dropbox in any state or place not at the election office. Hell or high water, vote 💙💙💙

It's a hot meal. It will do with a can of sardines, drained, mashed with 1-2 tsp Dijon. Then add 1 TBS chopped onion with lemon juice. Two of my older brothers, the twins, would make peanut butter toast and dip it in 10 hour old coffee, sugared up with milk after a late basketball practice.

I worked with a lady who went home every day for lunch to administer a shot in her husband and I remember the difficulty they had when the gvmt poorly administered the alternatives and hoops for those folks.

When in FL (2002-2010), I watched those pill joints pop up everywhere, especially those small centers in Jacksonville with the 12x12 Czech grocery stores, a salon and a Pain Center. The 2nd time in FL (2019-2024) we didn't see them, as the country was on to the Sackler damage and recovery actions.

Stopped going there, not consistent and we heard about their ingredients. Enjoyed our local Aroma Corner when we lived in Jax. Starbucks recently put up a brick & mortal in a town of 8k with a lot of pass through traffic. Once the shiny is off, they're going to close that too. Panera a better fit.

Diesel fuel. Lucky you didn’t grow up here - depending on your age we were limited to frozen or orange, pear or apple off season. Left for 40+ yrs to find out they’ve been shipping up here for years. However, I haven’t seen persimmons or figs in the 2.5 yrs I’ve been back.

Grew up here, left for 40+ yrs & returned 2.5 yrs ago. Never heard any candidates or elected with plausible big ideas until this cycle. I’m for jobs as long as they don’t pave or poison the state. A Rep or Sen vote in any state can make our lives here worse or better. My vote is for the country.

We always had dummies. Many had the sense to follow their smarter family or friends. We now have 50% of the population aged 18-80 with 6th grade reading, which leads to flawed reading comprehension. I knew it was up when they were bleeding public schools dry in the 90s in low-middle income areas.
