If you need fantasy scenarios to make Trump likable maybe you should realize why he is despised

I lost a good friendship yesterday. I knew the person was MAGA but that never was an issue until yesterday. What she said I couldn't ignore. I didn't say anything 2 her I just said I have 2go &drove away. I doubt I ever stop at her house ever again. Shame of it is she was the best acquaintance I had

Our Governor Janet Mills stood up to donald rump at a meeting & rump has said he will cut all funding to Maine. Now half of Maine wants to impeach her & the rest of us have said U go girl! A lot of protests listed for next weekend. The division he has created will long out last him.

I've been seeing a lot of posts about people leaving FB & Twitter. I've cut back on both but not leaving either. Elon &his salute did it4 a lot of people. I've cut back on social media but haven't given it up4 good. AI videos R the worst. There R a lot of scammers online2. Most sound so really fake!

Big narly snow/cold/wind storm coming2 my part of Maine tonight! I don't look forward2 clearing the snow from my car tomorrow. With my crappy lungs that cold wind will not make me happy. I can stay outside 4about 1/2 hour then in the house 4an hour then do it all again. I have no place2 go tomorrow.

A bad cold snap coming into Maine. The wind is now picking up. I sure hope wind doesn't put out the lights as the temps will b dropping 2 -20 or -30. That is very cold. I have plenty of fuel but I don't have heat set high so the tank will last 2 spring. I'll turn the heat up incase the lights go out

Jeff Bezos never wanted this cartoon to become public. He killed it, and as a result, pulitzer prize editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit. Make sure everyone sees this cartoon.

There was another mass shooting. It's getting to common. I'm not sure these acts will ever stop. It makes me never want to leave home or go to a big party gathering again. Life use 2 b much better than this. We had a mass killing here in Maine. That was something very unexpected here. Dang not good

I finally got the results of my cat scan. It was a letter not a call saying something was found wrong. I didn't understand some of the words but google did. Unremarkable was said a lot but they also said tree-in-bud abnormalities, mucus plugging. I guess I'll need a doc appointment soon 4explanation

Storm has stopped. Rain has ended. I think the rain got rid of all the snow! Should be a warm day tomorrow. Someone is going to help me with my car tomorrow so being warmer will be nice as we will be working on it outside. My inspection sticker ran out months ago. Can't wait 2get it back legal again

A New York Federal appeals court has upheld writer E. Jean Carroll’s verdict against the orange rapist. I love this for him. ABC news wasted their money.

No but I do have a back up heater I turn on &sit in front of if I'm really cold. It runs off K1. Usually by spring it runs dry. I put only 200 gals of fuel in it at a time. Sometimes I get 2 yrs out of it but mostly I put a bit in every late summer. It's just a back up heater so 1 fill a year is all

Wind is picking up some. The weather people did say we would be getting a wind storm. If it puts out the lights it won't cause frozen pipes as it is warm out. Tomorrow it could get in the high 40's. What a wonderful way 2 start the new year. It's very foggy & gloomy out today. No predicted rain yet.

Mary Aster @maryaster.bsky.social · 30/12/2024

I wear lots of sweaters! I'm keeping the heat set low at least until the fuel company makes a delivery. I'm not nearly out of fuel I'm just afraid of a big snow storm making it hard to get the truck in here. It would be hard 4me 2clear a path 2the tank. I don't want 2buy again until spring.

I'm tired tonight. A bit sad as there was another school shooting. Not sure those will ever end. At least the shooter is dead. The person was a student at the school. I wonder who they were really mad at. I bet they never knew the people shot. They haven't said boy or girl shooter. No details yet!!!

I went out today & it was very cold. It should warm up Tuesday & rain hard. The weather has been very up & down lately. I sure can't wait 4 spring. I'm tired. More bored really than tired. I miss all the political mail I use 2get. At least it was mail. I get hardly any mail now. Junk mail is it now.

I just posted on someone's page that was offering money2 people who respond. She won the lottery. Well lots of people on twitter say they give money away but no one there does GFM they just do apps. I'm not sure what is wrong with GFM. I don't do apps &don't want2 get them either. I hope she is real

A lot of people on twitter say they give money away but when I tell them I only do a go fund me they say no can't do that. I hope you can as some new money would sure help me out. Thank you for listening.

Well I kept the lights on thru the nasty storm from yesterday. It was warm enough2 melt nearly all the snow. My porch/driveway is completely clear. Cooler today but still warmer than normal. A touch of wind as well. Nice weather4 the next few days. Most everyone has their lights back on. Long winter

When I was 20 I was healthy. I'm no longer 20. If I loose my health care I'm screwed. I have a chronic illness that can't get better but can be treated. I could never pay for all the meds &care I get without help. If my SS goes I still have another check but it's not enough. rump needs 2go 2FL now!!

Mary Aster @maryaster.bsky.social · 17/11/2024

I like this new app. This has many of the people I know from X on it. I'll miss the long videos I watched on X but most everything else is the same here. I'm anxious about what rump will do once he takes over. Changing SS & medicaid has me worried as I fully rely on both to survive. Dangity hangity!

not sure how this all works. I don't C a list of posts2 read like on twitter. How do I know who2 follow if I can't see anything posted by anyone? Not sure I know all the ins & outs of this site. I'm sure I'll figure it all out eventually. Twitter has lost its charm so not sure I'll be on there much.

010

Mary Aster @maryaster.bsky.social · 14/11/2024

I thought for sure you would stay on twitter but I do understand why you left. I will try this out some but most likely won't post a lot. Social media isn't as charming as it once was.
