Oops! I forgot to upload the last couple days of albums! Get Behind Me Satan and Modal Soul are both lovely albums in their own right. I’ve always had a penchant for 2000s garage rock, and Modal Soul is a hallmark of the jazz-pop genre.

It’s still wild to me that they sought to create the most like, generic formulaic pop album they could and ended up with a masterpiece that stands out amongst the electro pop to come from the mid 2000s. I can’t think of a single song I don’t enjoy off of Oracular Spectacular :)

I remember seeing this album being advertised on tv in the mid 2000s? And I feel like it’s the last album I remember being advertised in commercials at all, but maybe it’s just the last one to stick with me. Packed full of amazing features and stellar beats, it’s still a favorite to this day :)

The Tony Hawk PS soundtrack introduced me to a ton of great artists, but my favorite of the bunch is probably Aesop Rock, a seriously underrated hip hop artist. This album, Labor Days, a concept album about Labor in all its form is still as poignant today as it was when it came out.

This album, LONG.LIVE.A$AP by A$AP Rocky is one I’ve always been fond of, but this past year I’ve revisited it and added it back to my usual rotation of albums, it’s aged really well and tracks like Wild for the Night make me nostalgic for the dubstep era :)

I think if I had to choose between this and Blonde, I’d say Channel Orange is prolly my favorite Frank Ocean album, just because of how hard Pyramids off of this goes. I’ll give Blonde Pink & White is probably my favorite song of his, but this albums more consistent imo :)

I was never really into this album, but this past year it’s grown on me quite a bit. I know nowadays they’re probably better known for The Black Parade, but Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge by My Chemical Romance hits a melancholic sad girl vibe I don’t see in many other albums :)
