291) Life of Brian I think the last of Monty Python's classics I had yet to see and one that might be starting to show its age... or maybe my total indifference towards the christian mythos played into my enjoyment. Biggus Dickus snrk! 6.5/10

290) Flaming Dodgeball Girl Danko Purest insanity. It feels refreshing to have a legacy sequel that reveres its father so much that I wish it dared to step out of the shadow more. It's doing very well on its own in redefining the inherent heated homosexual tension of rivalry 10/10

289) Goodbye Lara A gorgeous reimagining/sequel to a classic fairy tale about what it means to find true love that stands firmly on its very own two legs 10/10

120

Marwile/Marci @marwile.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

288) Mebius Dust I just couldn't vibe with this one. From the start I noticed cracks and holes I struggled to ignore and things only got worse when the focus fully shifted to the least sympathetic character imo. There was a solid idea but I just really don't like the execution 3/10

287) The Ribbon Hero A fun audiovisual spectacle that invites you to stop focusing on the bad and urges you to stand up and write your own, happier story IE what happens when you combine Deltarune, Nier and Magical Girls 9.5/10

Marwile/Marci @marwile.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

286) Mr. Monk's Last Case: A Monk Movie It was nice to check in on an old friend and see he's still doing well. What they chose as throughline concerned me at first, but the payoff was a beautiful highlight compared to the main mystery being essentially a normal episode stretched out 7/10

110

Marwile/Marci @marwile.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

285) HELLUVA SHORTS 14 // THE PRINCESS & THE PUPPER // HELLUVA BOSS Another decent short (except for the ending "gag") focusing on a pairing that really deserves more time, both together and individually. Is it wrong to ship two girls whose respective dads are the main pairing? 5.5/10

Marwile/Marci @marwile.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

284) Taskmaster Series 20 A landmark season that stands strong with potentially one of the best overall casts (not just age-wise) where every contestant gets you to root for them with their own funny quirks. 8.75/10

100

Marwile/Marci @marwile.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

283) Asterix and Obelix: God Save Britannia It goes through the same events as the original cartoon, yet those fail to be as entertaining, even adding elements from The Normans that only feel like padding. Doesn't help Asterix and Obelix come off as kind of unlikable. 4/10

282) The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar What a wonderful and charming way to tell a short story. 7.5/10

100

Marwile/Marci @marwile.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

281) They Cloned Tyrone It's weird this is advertised as a comedy. While there are some decent jokes, the chemistry between the leads isn't strong enough for good comedic banter, especially when this movies is at its best when it fully commits to being an effed up scifi thriller one hour in 6.5/10

110

Marwile/Marci @marwile.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

280) A Rose's Rebellion by FacepalmUnited The strength of the story is definitely in the interactions between the characters, every dialogue is a treat to read, especially cause many times it feels like a diluted copy of P5 with original ideas not given enough time to make it stand out more 7/10

100

Marwile/Marci @marwile.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

279) Chōjin Sentai Jetman I can confirm now that Inoue just always has been like that. It also holds up shockingly well with a good cast that admittedly goes through some growing pains (Gai). The villains are incredible, smh the goofiest, coolest and most enjoyable group of mfers ever 8.5/10

121

Marwile/Marci @marwile.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

278) Digimon Beatbreak What a mad beat to follow for an entire year. Even if there are some overall pacing and story issues, they pale to how insanely good many of the individual episodes are. A great way to get back into Digimon, ya know? 9.25/10

121

Marwile/Marci @marwile.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

277) Magilumiere Inc. 2nd Season At times it feels like they got less budget than S1 and events were stretched out to end at a certain point... only to then end right before the perfect cliffhanger for a season! But in the end Magilumiere still gets it and that's most important 8/10

275) Heroine? Saint? No, I'm an All-Works Maid (And Proud of It)! We combined "Isekai with OP protag accidentally solving everything" and "secret identity maid SoL", two genres I struggled to see as more than fine, and I find the result fine 5/10

Marwile/Marci @marwile.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

274) Fire Emblem Shadows Book 3: The Axe's Heir Everyone else~ Everyone else~ Everyone else is an asshole~ Ananke straight up might've become one of my favorite FE characters. 7.5/10

100

Marwile/Marci @marwile.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

273) Chainsmoker Cat What a weird show. First few eps disgusted me, almost made me drop it... then it got better, more profound and I got it. It's about girls trying to make it through lives that don't give them joys outside of their addictions They still could've turned down on the poop 7.75/10

110

Marwile/Marci @marwile.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

272) Konosuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! (Rewatch) Everything I could say has already been said. This was my 3rd or 4th time seeing one of the defining shows of the Isekai genre it is, ironically enough, parodying. Somehow that fact is also in-character for this show 9/10

120

Marwile/Marci @marwile.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

271) The Saga of Tanya the Evil II Somehow they took the weakest part of previous entries, political talks, and made them the highlight of the season by turning it into one of the most engaging political thrillers I've seen. At the center, old man yaoi 9/10

120

Marwile/Marci @marwile.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

270) Strike the Blood This was advertised to me as "Index but magic" and I do agree, however it's also refreshing in its comparative simplicity and stands fully on its own, even if I'm personally not a fan of how the MC unlocks new powers. Last arc is wild tho 7.5/10

But hey, at least it spent a lot of time to make sure to tell us how nice of a person the CEO of Slavery is.

269) A Livid Lady's Guide to Getting Even: How I Crushed My Homeland with My Mighty Grimoires Stay away unless you like boring capitalism or disproportionate war crimes on innocents solely done to get back at the 4 dumbest idiots imaginable. The only 2 likeable chars get the least screentime 2/10

Marwile/Marci @marwile.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

268) The 100 Girlfriends Who Really [...] Love You S3 By this point my manga readthrough had been so long ago that I forgot a lot of details and stories and it might genuinely be the best way to experience this... even if this season was unfortunate to start and end on the worst stories 9/10

120

Marwile/Marci @marwile.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

267) Kaiju Girl Caramelise Love and self love are important, especially for sweet adorable kaiju girls. The atomic breath isn't a flaw, it's a feature. And don't forget, you'll always have the support of all the monsterfuckers out there 9/10

120

Marwile/Marci @marwile.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

266) BanG Dream! Yume∞Mita I went in expecting cute girls doing band things, instead I got the most realistic portrayal of how easy the internet made it for monsters to ruin lives just for their sick fetishes A good show that hit a bit too strong for me to ever consider watching again

120

Marwile/Marci @marwile.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

265) Daemons of the Shadow Realm I firmly believe this one has the potential to become one of the greats like FMA but it's taking its time getting there. There's lots of setup already and while character motivations are clear, it feels like we only got a glimpse at the overarching conflict 7.5/10

263) Sonic Superstars Pacebreaking, that really is the best word to describe this game. Even the few genuinely good ideas it has are dragged down by level gimmicks that force you to slow down and just wait at every corner. And don't even get me started on the bosses! 3/10

258) Scrubs (2026) The rare revival that actually succeeds. All returning characters stil got it It's just that 9 eps aren't enough, not just because I want more, but due to pacing, some eps feel like multiple squished together and some overarching subplots feel a bit underbaked 7.75/10

254) Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Decent movie, maybe even a bit overhated, though I got the hindsight of Kang not returning. Wouldn't call the MCU humor too bad here, as the issue rather is the plot being too big for a little guy like Ant-Man 6.5/10
