"Perfect, now the camera crotch panel will make sense!"

Spiderman comic panel where a camera pops out of Peter Parkers crotch, complete with "Pop" sound effect

Marvellyous @marvellyous.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

"Did you draw that panel of spiderman's symbiote costume absorbing his waller and keys?" "Yup, real close to his crotch just like you asked"

Spiderman comic panel where he is wearing the symbiote costume and it's absorbed his keys and wallet just above his crotch kind of like a womb tattoo.
The text on the panel says "Instantly reacting to Spider-Man's unspoken command, his costume suddenly opens a wide seam to receive his keys and wallet...No sooner does he place them within it, than it immediately reseals itself!"

And like, I guess she could have decided to change the character based on fan speculation but a)I feel like that's a bad precedent to set and b) I'd rather it be a considered part of her character rather than just tacked on?

Marvellyous @marvellyous.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Yeah I mean, can you imagine how much worse people would react if she said nothing and then the show comes out and people find out then? And I don't even think she was shutting down headcanons, just saying "That's a neat interpretation, but jsyk that's not a thing that will be happening in the show"

This week, the girls treat themselves to a masterful and bleak sci-fi horror about the existential dread of being a woman. ScarJo gives her best performance in this piece of accidental trans cinema, and we're here to dig into every beautiful, haunting second of it. shows.acast.com/queer-up/epi...

Very thought provoking discussion

4 Panel comic.
Panel 1: Two anthropomorphic cats in greek robes philosiphising to each other (they're dressed and posed the same as Plato and Aristotle in Raphael's renaissance painting The School of Athens)
Panel 2: The left cat pokes the right cat in the chest
Panel 3: The cats are fighting; right cat has bitten left cat's finger and is shoving their face away, while left cat is grabbing right cat's head to pull them away from their finger. A large "AHEM" appears in the bottom right corner, interrupting them.
Panel 4: Two regular cats in similar poses to the fighting anthropomorphic cats look up surprised at an unimpressed goblin, their owner.

Some older Woodlouse art! (That's a springtail sitting on top)

Brush pen and ink illustration of a springtail riding a woodlouse like a mount, sitting in a leaf saddle with saddlebags made of leaves and tied by grass draped across the woodlouse.

Icing on the cake is they're complaining about harassment occurring due to alluding to being abused, when what happend with my gf was she didn't even name or tag this person or their essay! It was vague posting and they appeared from the blue to harass her

Little frustrating to see someone complain about coordinated mass harassment campaings when said person sicced their followers on my gf for saying "I think their essay was bad" a while back. Vagueposting cos I also don't want to be dogpiled

Fox-sona commission! (They/It) I really like working in limited tone, should do more hatching/crosshatching and furry art, it's a lot of fun!

Digital drawing of an anthro fox looking at the viewer. It is wearing a suit and clasping its leather gloved hands together, clearly planning something. It's a limited colour pallette of red linework and shadows, lighter muted red for midtones and limited white for the shirt and some fur

Some recent sketching progress. Cat bees just seem like a natural evolution, y'know?

Photo of a sketchbook page. In the top right, a brush pen and ink drawing of a treetrunk in half focus with broken branches protruding from it. In the bottom half of the page is a pencil sketch of a cat bee hybrid from a low angle; it has the ears, mouth, paws, and tail of a cat, but the eyes, antennae, mandibles, legs, body shape, wings, and fuzz of a bee. On the left is a small sketch of the same creature from a top angle.

Same as previous pic except the big cat bee drawing lines have been inked, and it is partly coloured in with yellows, blacks, and greys

Same as previous pic but the cat bee is more finished looking as it's more coloured in including some bold black and yellow

Lynda Barry did not squeeze your heart and simultaneously explain the point of all art with the barest of line drawings so you could tell me that AI is "inevitable."

HOW TO LOOK AT ART by Lynda Barry

In the first panel, a dog-headed woman, a mother, looks at a painting in the "Madonna with Baby Jesus" vein. A small blobby child is standing next to her.

Mother: IM NOT SURE HOW TO LOOK AT ART.
Child: WHATS SPOSTA HAPPEN?

In the second panel the dog-headed mother holds up her hands (paws?) trying to explain to the child.

Mother: SOMETHING BIG. A REVELATION.
SUDDENLY YOU JUST UNDERSTAND.

In the third panel dog-headed mother goes back to looking at the painting. The child holds up their arms to be lifted.

Mother: NOT SURE HOW TO MAKE IT HAPPEN
Child: HOW BOUT LIFT ME UP SO I CAN SEE BETTER

In the last panel, the dog-headed mother is holding the child, their position mirrored by the Madonna and baby Jesus in the painting.

Especially wild that they looked at the conservatives exploding after decades of creating a hostle culture for themselves and everyone around them and decided "we need to be more like them, that's a winning strategy"

120

Marvellyous @marvellyous.bsky.social · 07/05/2026

It's wild how Labour's strategy under Starmer has been to just keep punching themselves in the dick and shouting "this is what the voters want!"

Sorry to say, but I think this is AI art :/ The number of strings, pegs, and places where the strings are attached at the top of the banjo are all different, which to me at least suggests it's AI, which is a shame Figured you'd wanna know as your profile looks pretty anti AI

Saaaaame Like it's decent enough but it just did not resonate much with me and the queer rep is so sparse and dated that I barely cared about it when it turned up, I just found myself complaining about so many parts of the game all the time I was playing it
