Spent a chunk of the last few weeks moving @marvelist.co.uk's account management over to Tophhie Cloud (Entra ID External ID) and making it feel native. Slowly moving to "one identity for all apps and services" ✨ #entraid #buildinpublic #indiedev #indieapp

Some lists hold more than a shopping run. Marvelist Vault gives a sensitive list its own layer of encryption — scrambled in our database, kept out of the AI assistant, still syncing and sharing like normal. One protected list free. More with Premium. #buildinpublic #iosdev #indieapp #indiedev

Post Incident Report: Marvelist – 20-23 June 2026

A database change, and an API change caused user registration issues. Resolved ✅

Marvelist @marvelist.co.uk · 23/06/2026

Broke user registration this week. Twice. First, I knocked out a database trigger. Then I broke user ID generation. New users were hitting the sign-up flow, authenticating fine, then just... not being created in the database. No error, no warning. Just lost users. Always test. ⚠️ #buildinpublic

Marvelist started as a way to teach myself Swift. It wasn't meant to become a product. Four years later it's tasks, notes, lists and event RSVPs in one app — tied together with AI that actually pulls its weight. Proper introduction here 👇 www.tophhie.cloud/introducing-... #IndieDev #IndieApp

Guest lists just got a UX upgrade. 📅 After RSVPing, guests can instantly add the event to Google, Apple, Outlook, Microsoft 365, Yahoo Calendar... or download an .ics file. No more "wait, when was it again?" texts. 😅 marvelist.co.uk #EventPlanning #IndieApp #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #Productivity
