Yesterday, Sep 27 observation flight volunteers witnessed an odd deportation flight. At 10am, a plane boarded 33 people to be deported or transferred. The plane departed at 11:39am, then returned at 12:25.

“It was very hard to get released because these detainment companies make money for every person they keep in detention. While detained I had a bladder infection and I use a walker. None of the staff ever helped me and none of the doctors ever cured me.“

NWDC is dangerous and unhygienic. CALL GEO AND ICE to DEMAND they address the cleaning of the units, blanket changes and pets, and keeping the products restocked and DEMAND they meet the recent strikers demands and follow through on their promises!

A 3rd unit has possibly joined the 20th hunger strike at NWDC, where over 140+ people are protesting to demand better food, supplies, and medical care. Today is Day 5 of the hunger strike. In G3, someone was sent to segregation due to communicating and giving updates to La Resistencia, stripping them of their freedom of speech. “We have a right to express ourselves and communicate with people. They can’t negate us that.”
