The consequences of Operation Epic Stupidity...

Mart @martw.bsky.social · 09/03/2026
If you think about it, a massive wave of Iranian immigrants heading towards Europe and the UK would suit Trump and all the far right lot just fine. It would cause turmoil and play into the agenda they use to capitalise on.

Israel and the US will happily oblige. Schoolboys, hospitals, religious sites, cemetaries. Nothing is off the agenda if Palestine is anything to go by.

Do we know how many hospitals the "we don't bomb hospitals" crowd have bombed do far?

Standstill is a funny way to describe a 90,000 loss in an economy where the norm is nearer to plus 150K. It looks like Mr Bankruptcy is working his magic on the US economy now.

This is a prediction market, it has been running since before he was not able to run, so at some point, bets had been placed on him maybe running and then winning.

I think he's great, I'm loving the Goodwin effect! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I hope all Deformers do as well.

Remember, these are not politicians with Labour values, they chose Theresa May and Boris Johnson over Corbyn, their own leader! Their politics is virtually indistinguishable from the previous Tory Govt.

It will go the way of twitter and just become a right wing cesspit and propaganda arm for the authoritarian state under Trump.
030
Mart @martw.bsky.social · 22/01/2026
The right wing sure do like their pedophilia. And their pedophile protectors, since Trump is still their hero.

Mart @martw.bsky.social · 22/01/2026
That's not their job. Their job is to continue to deliver neoliberalism. Doesn't really matter if they get voted out at the next GE, as long as it's Tory/Reform that continues to carry the neoliberal torch and protect the wealthy. They'll get their turn again, and rewards.
010
Mart @martw.bsky.social · 22/01/2026
Quite possibly. This lot chose May and Boris over Corbyn remember. They are essentially the same neoliberals as the Tories and are committed to that ideology maintaining control above all else.

Seems like the sort of thing Trump would do.

Mart @martw.bsky.social · 22/01/2026
Might want to be concerned about other actual war criminals too, like Netanyahu. This won't be a board of peace, it's another grift by Trump which will have him as a lifetime CEO, and only he will be able to name his successor (no doubt a Trump offspring).

I don't think that making all the other NATO allies your enemy, will strengthen the US's security. I don't think making all your economic partners despise you and boycott your goods and country, will improve your economy. Choosing a racist idiot to be President... results are predictable

US President is different to a mob boss.

Putin could never have hoped to have had a better asset in the Whitehouse than Trump. What more could a carefully crafted asset have given Putin than Trump has? And Trump is still in place, delivering.

So far, both he and the shadow minister have taken exactly the same grovelling line. We are not 'Great' Britain when it comes to our politicians. This is what true weakness looks like. The worst kind. Not standing up for your friends and allies in the face of bully.

Don't post that hard right goon on here. FFS. This isn't twitter.

How wealth is accrued is not the point It's that having extreme amounts of it tied up in whatever, should not be a reason why they avoid taxes the rest of us can't. The wealthy borrow against assets, live of that till death and avoid taxes.
030
Mart @martw.bsky.social · 20/11/2025
I don't get to spend all the money I owe in taxes on assets such as shares or property and then say, oh well, I've got nothing left to give HMRC, so you'll get almost nothing, discussion over.
050
Mart @martw.bsky.social · 20/11/2025
So we share in their profits. Do they make profits?
000
Mart @martw.bsky.social · 20/11/2025
What's this? Greed washing? Oh, won't somebody please think of the super rich! They have it soooo hard! Are these the same people that keep telling us they are going to leave the UK if we dare to tax them slightly more?

Given that we've seen unprecedented levels of disillusionment of the BBC under right wing stewardship, perhaps we ought to have a clear out there and bring some balance back to the BBC.
030
Mart @martw.bsky.social · 20/11/2025
And this is being pursued by Carr, the same FCC guy that leant on the media companies, mafia style, that were airing the Kimmel shows, threatening to harm their prospects if they refused to cancel Kimmel. They can't win by the rules. Always have to cheat.
010
Mart @martw.bsky.social · 20/11/2025
He added that "in reality, the FCC will probably come up empty. If the programme wasn't broadcast in Ąmerica, that's fatal to Trump's claim and to the FCC investigation. The FCO inquiry is a fishing expedition in a desert -- there's nothing to catch.'

Mart @martw.bsky.social · 13/11/2025
Yeah, but never mind that, did you see what the BBC did? Made it look like Trump incited the insurrection that he incited. So bad, he's gonna sure them for $1 billion.
000
Mart @martw.bsky.social · 09/11/2025
The irony is now there's room to replace them with someone from the left. Probably won't happen as the current supposedly left wing Govt is politically in the same place as the outgoing right wing Tories. Would be funny if they did get a left DG in there though.
020
Mart @martw.bsky.social · 09/11/2025
It's bizarre and hilarious. These people running the BBC are staunch right wingers installed by the previous Tory (right wing) Govt. They've be forced to fall on their swords by one of the leading right wing papers here in the UK for telling the truth but with 1 bad editing choice.

Remember, it's not just Starmer, it's his advisors and the team around him. Politically they are about the same Tory neoliberals as the Cameron lot. Which is why they are as incompetent and unpopular. McSweeny and co captured the Labour partyand made it right wing.

Mart @martw.bsky.social · 25/10/2025
I doubt the rest of the COP30 wasn't that embarrassing, reality-denying ignoramus there either. It's not like he will have anything helpful or constructive to add, and he certainly won't understand the matters being discussed.

Mart @martw.bsky.social · 25/10/2025
Warned by whom? Will it do this even though it hasn't historically turned out that way here, hasn't worked out that way in other countries like the Scandinavian countries for example, and here in the UK we already are one of the most unequal countries on earth, the gap needs to be closed.

Mart @martw.bsky.social · 20/10/2025
Are people still clinging on to the hope that Labour might eventually govern in a Labour kind of way, rather than just the same as the previous 14 years of Tory failure and Reform chasing? Seems pretty crazy. Greens are the progressives now, Labour have abandoned that ground.
010
Mart @martw.bsky.social · 20/10/2025
There's not a chance Israel will keep to the ceasefire. They engineer a way to go back to the previous rate of killing.
000
Mart @martw.bsky.social · 20/10/2025
Trump told you, he'd fix this and you'd never need to vote again. There's no chance you'll get an even remotely fair election going forward.
000
Mart @martw.bsky.social · 20/10/2025

Reform is just the excuse, these could ghouls actually want to be right wing. They hate the left, they aren't progressive. Their ideology and their job is to carry on the work of the Tories for the last 14 years and keep the wealth and power moving to the elites.

But I'm sure that if they pay Trump personally enough in private bitcoin, they could be involved. He won't be giving those contacts out to just anybody. No, kiss the ring, make the donation and you could be in the running.

Mart @martw.bsky.social · 18/10/2025
This was better than your weird and aggressive "interview" you did on LBC. It was extremely interesting to hear Zacks views with a little breathing room, even if you did cut into his explanations a little too often. I reckon he might have won you over somewhat in the end. New Green voter?
000
Mart @martw.bsky.social · 17/10/2025
Wait, weren't they promising us that we'd grow our way to utopia? We're they lying about that too?
000
Mart @martw.bsky.social · 13/10/2025
When has Israel ever kept to a ceasefire? No, Israel doesn't want peace, Netanyahu can't risk it, he'll be facing jail in his own country, and they want all of Gaza anyway. They have spent all that war money just to go back to where they were.
