I spent 38 days on this felted sculpt of #jayvik It's been a while since I spent this much time on a single project. It takes a special type of brainrot for me to dedicate this long to a piece, especially fanart. twitch.tv/martubymartu #needlefelting #sculpture #art #wool #arcane #fanart

WIP anytime I sculpt a new face, I become attached to the personality that emerges from the wool. these were going to be for sale but now I can't imagine parting with them. and they're not even done yet. I wonder if this is a common occurrence among sculptors and other artists selling original work.

Big shout-out to the team behind Starbrew Cafe for including this little message in their game. I play it when I need to soothe the angry bees in my head (which is often, lately). This definitely made me smile.

screenshot from the game Starbrew Cafe. There's an illustration of a red haired witch reenacting a scene from Kiki's Delivery Service in the background, a dialogue text box with a vampire character called Aubrey in the foreground. The text reads:
"But he's obviously busy. So I'm just here to tell you winners don't use AI to make money off other people's art."

(the first sentence relates to a previous dialogue box where she talks about the cat in the illustration usually being the one to give these "breaking the fourth wall" addresses)
