I’m so happy that Ilya has Shane in his life, has Yuna,David, and Anya and he’s gonna be happy. This art is very personal to me actually. I was diagnosed with severe depression four years ago and actually did a buzz cut on my worst days. Stay safe and take care if yourself #hollanov #heatedrivalry

Here is your periodical reminder that: -Reference isn't cheating and no artist worth their salt has ever said that it is. -Professional artists and animators trace all the time. -You can use assets (3d models, photos, montages) that you made/got permission to use however you want in your art.

The only explanation I have for this is a childhood photo of me with my mom, where she looks like she’s either about to punch someone or burst into tears. She has a pacifier in her mouth, mom later said she was desperately searching for a lost pacifier #SHANEHOLLANDER #heatedrivarly

I can't believe we're going back to this kind of discourse but: Using references isn't cheating Using 3D mannequins and photo references is STANDARD, even for professional artists Shaming people and pushing them to draw exclusively from memory is harmful and can set back people who are learning
