Massive thanks to our stream crew, partners and everyone who said hello or made time to connect. If we missed each other in the convention rush, let's catch up soon!

We hosted an MTG Commander stream in the @lanfest.bsky.social space for @childsplaycharity.bsky.social and swapped stories with gametechs old and new. As someone who has been in patient tech for a long time, seeing the industry's growth firsthand is amazing.

Finally catching up after an incredible run between @gamesforchange.bsky.social and @officialpax.bsky.social West! From being a juror at the G4C Awards to speaking on panels: this community is unmatched. 🧵

Didn't they say that ai generated content can't be copyrighted? So arguably we could also just create content using that likeness and make them do whatever, even make fun of other content theyve been in

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

Lol sounds good! You bringing precons or custom builds?

100

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

Let me know if you need any opponents, I'll probably bring at least one deck with me

110

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

I would so wear this in attendance to future acq inc shows if I won! Current bids seem reasonable but with the amount of time left I know it's only going to sky rocket from here, for a great cause though!

010

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

I'm surprised I haven't been blocked on their various social channels for always commenting about it too Also stopped watching some random retro guy because of it & also commented on any of his posts involving mod retro, surprising amount of people seemed thankful for the info, expected more hate

050

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 18/07/2026

You'd have to make a video featuring the recipients though, go full beast, lol

010

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 18/07/2026

It's just better for the environment this way too! Plus, call me crazy but I hate when the covers are tucked in at the end, I need space for my feet to roam

100

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

It depends on the individual game but Humble Bundle has a bunch too, lol though some are just GOG keys anyway

110

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

Do you use crossover for gaming too? I've typically seen people use the heroic game launcher for those types of things. But I just saw bottles which is apparently close to GameNative for Android which has been really popular

100

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

It also took him a ton of games though! Messi 6 world cups, 18 goals Mbappe 3 world cups, 16 goals Klose 4 world cups, 16 goals Even if he sets the bar this year, he will retire and the other two will quickly surpass him

000

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 21/06/2026

No worries Lol, my replies were just because I was confused on the situation and then was semi taken a back about how deep they went on the reply. 💯 People can describe their thinking and I appreciate the clarification and think we all better understand each other now

080

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 20/06/2026

Woah, same team. I took your original reply to mean people don't want low quality things (which is also true), not necessarily that all genAi is slop. My original reply was just expanding on that it's more than just a quality thing, people oppose the other issues with genAi as well

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 20/06/2026

Now if we can just get these types of figures in front of more and more CEOs and investors then they'll listen to the numbers

140

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 20/06/2026

I think it's more than just slop. If it was just slop, people wouldn't care about the "tools" used to "create" the game and I think the number would be a lot lower.

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 04/06/2026

I thought that's what Flight Simulator was for?

000

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

Ah good play, was also coming here to make a joke at his expense but regardless, we should probably ask his consent first...

130

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 20/05/2026

Idk if the VGK goalie would consent to that though....

000

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 16/05/2026

(I only play super casualty) how are they rigged?

300

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 04/05/2026

Same, I'm a buffalo fan so they're my hope but my default after that are always a Canadian team. They went 2-2 during the season so it'll be an interesting one

000

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 04/05/2026

They would've been better off pulling the goalies and playing posts

000

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 03/05/2026

Especially on the west coast, there was such a huge division between the top of the conference and the lower ones that made it in. At least the east kept it close right up to the end. (Though, fwiw, Wild did surprisingly beat the Stars)

010

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 03/05/2026

Ew canes? They're beating philly, which isn't much of an accomplishment

100

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 27/04/2026

With how far card scanning has come in the last decade, you'd think we'd be there by now, or nfc tags or something.

000

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 27/04/2026

I feel like in 2026, by now, we should have some sortve top down camera system that paper magic players could use that would track those sorts of things. I know part of the game is, arguably tracking all of that but it's one reason I prefer Arena

100

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 25/04/2026

The latest trend I've seen are fake sob story videos trying to promote "small business" but it's an ai video of someone smashing their farmers market table for example but then ultimately links to a temu drop shipper slinging some junk

100

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 25/04/2026

If you need more people on the panel, let me know!

010

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 19/04/2026

I met him at the last Pax West, ironically hunting for the Desert Bus banner pins and ended up watching a ton of his stuff This one is really interesting to see why and maybe a look into that space from his perspective

020

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 06/04/2026

Would those gases also maybe make you hallucinate someone speaking to you if you inhaled too much?

100

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 05/04/2026

But purpose built, the thor is a great option but you can do just as much, if not more, if you have a device like a steam deck or rog Xbox Ally x

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 05/04/2026

If you wanna dig in I always recommend @retrogamecorps.com a YouTuber who reviews all things for retro emulation

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 05/04/2026

There has been research showing that it has already begun to change the way we speak and write, certain key words and phrases are way more common now and they are able to track the usage uptick and connection to ai. Somethings like certain words like delve or oxford commas

000

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 30/03/2026

Let's gooooo! Best mp3 player ever and I'm still chasing a software that is half as good as the zune PC software at managing, tagging and creating playlists based off of all of those tags and meta data; though I honestly don't have much of a local music collection anymore

010

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 25/03/2026

Damn is right, idk if I've seen the 2019 or 2025 club pa pins, add that to the list!

000

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 24/03/2026

Need to get pokemon back at pax and then do a collab pin!

010

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 23/03/2026

Well at least the burn the world down with data centers community is open to diversity....

010

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 23/03/2026

They probably used ai to make the response and it just copied all of the others

120

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

It's on me for not having the time but I also just keep getting lost exploring and have no idea how anyone has beat it so far, let alone those ive heard have done multiple playthroughs

000

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

It automatically jumped to the best pokemon game on the charts if that's any indicator

030

Marty "Martizz1e" @martizz1e.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

I think they meant games writer and a plagiarist
