I was able to go swimming just one single time this year, in an actual pool. That's more than I got to do last year, or the year before that, or the year before that. I miss swimming. I like to swim naked, around other gay men. It's not about sex. It's about freedom.

Yesterday (Friday), I actually got to say the really difficult stuff to them. The stuff that I hadn't said because I knew how painful & hurtful & spiteful it was going to sound. I finally said what was weighing on my heart & soul. I'm now able to find the road to closure & healing now. I feel better

I don't know who I am anymore. For 9 years, I defined myself by the fact that I was a loyal, faithful, devoted, loving partner/husband. Now that that's gone, I don't know who I really am anymore. So much of my life was intertwined w/ his & him snatching that away was a massive blow to my life.

So far this year, I have not been able to sleep at night, no matter how tired I am. Three nights in a row, I have taken melatonin, and three nights in a row, I have not slept for a single minute. I am in a cool sleeping environment, with my lovely pillows, dressed appropriately, and no sleep.

DC Comics is putting out two new titles this year that I'm hoping will be long term ongoing titles. Batwoman, And The Legion of Super Heroes. If these sell well, and carry on for 3-5 years, if not longer, then I will be a very happy comic book reader. Buy them. Support them. Write to them.
