A reminder that Trump, Thune, and Johnson can end the shutdown in a heartbeat by letting both chambers vote on a CR that includes a one-year extension of the ACA tax credits. It would pass both the Senate and the House with large bipartisan majorities.

Next time you speak with a MAGAt, ask them: Do you have an accountant who does your taxes? If you were interviewing someone for that job and they told you they had 6 bankruptcies, were sued over 4000x ‘s for not paying bills and had their charity shut down for fraud, would you hire them?
