I'll tell you what: I would take that table today for the end of the season. HSV in 12th, Union in the playoffs and Hoffenheim going down. Would probably swap Gladbach and Paderborn over but Gladbach will no doubt have a good Rückrunde. #nurderHSV

Surely, one option to fill the Remberg-sized hole in midfield is Capaldo. I know that makes central defence a bit different and also M⁴ had a great game but I see a Sambi+Capaldo midfield anchor (not a fan of 'pivot') as better balanced. #AufgehtsHamburg #nurderHSV

Hoffenheim are "a bit physical" which is a euphemism for dirty. 3 left backs playing for HSV now. Strange when you think we have JT and Nandja who can play central defence and Capaldo who is actually a midfielder #tsgHSV

Well, that ended up being quite an interesting friendly. Kofi and Rambo with the goals. I would have liked to see Ojo have more playing time as we're not exactly blessed with wingers this season. #HSVFCK

Apart from Guéhi gifting Spain a goal, it hasn't been bad from England. I thought Lewis-Skelly was in the team to stand on Rodri's toes for 90 minutes #ENGesp

#HSVkoe Why defend corners with all 11 players in the box? Why not leave Vieira or Ouahdi upfield in case we gain possession? I'm still not sure whether are too timid or sitting back more on purpose.

Damn! Started looking OK and now we're back to looking like we should change the club name to Hamburg 05.

MartinHSV @martinhsv.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

It was a really good finish for the goal but we looked a lot safer in the first 10 minutes when we got the ball into their half for longer. Are they trying to provoke Capaldo? #rblHSV

According to capology.com you could pay Remberg + Røssing-Lelesiit or Grønbæk/ Ferro + Stange for what Muheim earns. I like Muheim but, if true, HSV's wage structure seems to undervalue our goalkeeper.

My thoughts on transfer deadline day: Chelsea had to let one Argentinian go because there needs to be a quota of one per team. We've all seen what happens when you get 11 of them together and it's not pretty. Maybe Everton should try to get Benzema if no other strikers are available.

What's happening in terms of signing Louis Lemke's understudy? The Norwegian left back David Møller Wolfe played all of Norway's games at the World Cup but in his first game for Wolves in the Championship, he was described as "lacking match fitness". Also, does that mean we're not getting Moura?

The last time two Czech goalkeepers played against each other in a Premier League match before yesterday was January 12, 2008. Petr Čech and Radek Černý started in Chelsea v Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge, which Chelsea won 2–0. #brankář #Horníček #Kinský

A very poor first half. Not so much without the ball but when we have had possession, we've given it away too easily. No threat in the final third because we lose it before we can get that far up the pitch. Auf geht's Hamburg! #BVBHSV

As an outsider from a country with no regional splits until the 6th level of football and the whole of England taking the same summer holidays every year, why does Bavaria want to block both rotating summer holidays and the compass model league reforms? #kompassmodell #schulferien

Just spent 15 minutes with Google AI showing how unreliable it is. I simply asked about Brian Madjo's 3 senior international games for Luxembourg as he switched allegiance to England. First, it gave me 3 friendly matches + line-ups. Then when I asked for more stats, it admitted it made them up!

I didn't think Balogun should have received a red card. Also, I heard at the time that the VAR officials used it incorrectly for a red card by freezing the frame. If they had used that as the reason, I could accept it. Hopefully now they'll also send off half the Paraguayan team after the event.

#Nagelsmann is gone. I don't think he's the main problem. Germany's most talented players don't seem to have the leadership/win-at-all-costs mentality that the Nationalmannschaft had in the past. #DFB Can Klopp change that?
